Broken friendship

*ringgggg*
It's the door bell.. "Ugh what time is it?! 5 AM.. Seriously? Who would come to my house at this time?"
Then my phone rings. It's a number I don't know.
"Hello, this is Bella."
"This is Jake, Mattys ex-best-friend."
Wait what..?
"Listen Bella, I need to talk to you right now. Can you come outside now, please?"
"Uuuhm, fine. I'll put on some clothes first."

I jump outside my window, so my parents won't notice that I am gone.
There he is, Jake, Mattys ex-best-friend. He is really tall, and big. Not fat, just really big. He looks friendly though. "Hey, Bella. I'm Jake."
"Hey, I'm Bella, obviously, haha, I mean who else would I be, right?"
Oh gosh I'm so awkward.
"So why did you come to my house?"
"Well, I wanted to talk to you about Matty. I'd like to make it up to him, by doing something special." He smiles.
"Oh, that's so sweet!! I'm sure Matty will love it! So tell me, what's your plan?"
"Me and Tim, Mitchell and Raphael wanted to throw Matty a surprise party at the Madison Park tomorrow, and we wanted to ask if you could help us, by taking Matty to the park."
I smile, "Of course I will!! I'd do anything to make Matty feel better."
"Okay thank you so much! See you at 4 PM at Madison Park tomorrow."

Then I go back to sleep. Well that was weird, but also kinda cute, I mean those friends of Matty obviously struggle a lot with their fight.

I wake up again at 7 AM, and I go to Matty's house.
"Matt, would you like to go to the park with me today, 4 PM? I need to show you something." I smile. Matty has no idea what's going to happen today..
"Yeah, sure, I'd love to! I think it would be good for me, so I can forget about this stupid fight with my so-called "friends"."
"Great, I'll pick you up at 3:50 PM!"
