Chapter 3: Homecoming News

it was a beautiful Thursday morning and Mathew had woke up to Alan's text saying

" Mathew where are you?, you are late for school and the teachers are gonna expel you! this is the 3rd time you're gonna be late!"

Mathew rushes off the bed to get ready for school. Matthew checks the time, realizing he is very late makes him panic. He goes down stairs to check if his mom is awake, she isn't, Matthew takes a deep breath sigh

"'Can't believe this is the 3rd time im late, if mom hears about this im gonna get in so much trouble, she has already received 23 messages from the school."

He goes back stairs to get his bags and keys, then drives off. When he arrives to the school he doesn't see Alan anywhere

"He probably went to class without me"

And starts running to class. When he arrives to his class he finally checks his bag just to realize/find out he forgot something he was gonna give Alan. Matthew looks around for Alan but he doesn't see him anywhere, but then he looked to his side and there was Alan.

"Hi matthew"

"oh, hi Alan"

"Did you know homecoming is in 4 days?"

"really?"

"yeah! i'm not sure who i'm gonna ask to go with me tho"

"Oh."

"Alright class dismissed!"

Holy crap, Matthew and Alan were talking the whole time, they didn't even get to take notes. Matthew walks out without even saying goodbye.

5 minutes pass

Matthew starts walking thru the halls, not knowing what to do while he waits for next hour to start, but then he spots the poster:

"Homecoming! 11/21/**, Make sure to have someone with you! there will be specific couple that will have controll of the school for a whole year!"

Matthew pulls the paper off the wall and then keeps walking while thinking the same things over and over again

"erm, should i go? no because i dont have a luver."

'till he runs into Alan.

"Oh hey Matthew! what are you holding?"

"uh, the poster of homecoming?"

"Oh! are you going? i know i am!"

"i..don't..i..uh..probably not"

"why not?

"I dont have a..luver?"

"Ohh, that doesn't matter tho!"

"mmhmm.."

Matthew walks away again without saying bye to Alan.

lets just skip to when school ends

bells rings

"Finally school's over!"

Matthew starts to walk thru the halls, surprisingly looking for Alan, but doesn't seem to find him.

"where is that idiot? he said he would be at the exit but he isn't there!" Matthew yells to himself, but then he remembers Alan wouldn't be able to wait today, he had to go somewhere with his mom.

"Well i tried" matthew said in a disappointed voice
