last night

I headed to the lounge by myself to get some breakfast with the other members. Jimin was sleepy and didn't want breakfast so I let him rest some more as it was early in the morning. I didn't sleep much... I wasn't able to fall asleep with all these thoughts flowing through my mind of what just had happened between me and Jungkook. That, as well as the guilt that rushed over me just as Jungkook had left the room.
Jimin and I still weren't together together. Yes we were maybe acting like we were, but we both agreed it was too soon to put a title on anything. Still I had the worst taste in my mouth.

Jin and Yoongi were the only ones sitting at the breakfast table as I entered the room, "Good morning."

"Morning." Jin said while munching on some fruit. Yoongi looked up from his computer and waved at me.

"Already working from the morning?" I questioned and sat down next to Yoongi across from Jin after grabbing a bowl.

"Mhmm." He grumbled in response.

"And what are you doing?" I shifted my attention from the computer screen to Jin, who was just starring at his food.

He slowly moved his eyes from his bowl of fruit to mine, "Enjoying this food." He said and pointed to the food on the table.

"I see." I laughed and leant closer to Yoongi to look at his screen and squinted my eyes, "What are you working on?"

"Um... I don't know if I should tell you but it has..." He started, but his voice fainted as Jungkook entered the room and flashbacks of last night flooded through my head.

"...That's it." Yoongi finished, still focused on his screen.

"Sure, okay." I said my eyes fixed on Jungkook. He went to the kitchen to grab a bowl too. He didn't once look at me until he sat down next to Jin, but it was just a quick glance.

"Morning Hyung." He said and patted Jin on the back.

I kept looking at Jungkook, seeking his attention cause I wanted to talk to him about the night. But when he looked at me, he just looked away again as if nothing had happened.

"Jungkook where were you last night?" Jin started and I unintentionally started coughing, making everyones eyes land on me.

"I've woken up in the middle of the night the past few days and while you've been my roommate, your bed has been empty almost each time." Jin continued got the attention again.

He's been in the lounge every night? What is he doing there..

Jungkook just shrugged and grabbed some chopsticks and began eating.

"Jungkook... can I talk to you?" I asked low-voiced and shy of asking that question.

"Later, I'm eating." He answered without giving me one single glance.

"Fine." I sighed and grabbed a watermelon slice.

"Jungkook we should talk about last night." I said after dragging him into a room with me after being patient enough.

"Talk about what?" He said and pulled his arm from my grip.

How is he so cold

"We need to talk about-" I started annoyed, but stopped as my shyness hit.

"You know we.." I hesitated.

"Kissed?" Jungkook finished my sentence.

I nodded, looking at the ground from shyness.
