Prolog

the blood felt like it was still spilling out of your skull, you try to shake off this feeling hoping it was merely a nightmare, or a dream that felt too real. you didn't know how to react or what to even do at the moment as you snarl.. your vision was still dark as if it was nothing. Eventually you regain your vision as you realize your no longer on the battle field and that you're actually inside a room, laying down on a bed you can't place. you decide to get up and try to stretch your limbs but as you do just that, the piercing pain in your skull sends you down onto the floor as you cry out in pain, "Damnit, this is a brutal headache..." as you heard your own voice you realized that you were back in reality, but the nightmare was still plaguing your mind.. it was as if you really were inside the nightmare, watching hundreds of Viking soldiers fighting and slaughtering one another. you shook your head slightly and got up onto your feet holding the wall to balance you as you walked to the bathroom, deciding to get a shower to wash of the sweat you were soaked in. "huh, i didn't even notice until now.. that really was an intense nightmare.." you said aloud before turning on the water, and proceeding to shower. The water was cold, perfect against your skin as you can feel it cooling down your body from the terror that was of your sleep. you had lost yourself into your thoughts, so much so that ten minutes had past. You heard your alarm going off and you just snapped back into reality, realizing that you have to be to work within another fifteen minutes! "Fudge!" is all you could think of, and running out of the shower as fast as you can turn off the water, flinging open the shower curtains and rushing to your closet, grabbing the towel and drying off your body. You get dressed and struggle to get your shoes on, but alas you still manage to put them on in enough time to get out the door. and your day will never be like anything you ever had before, but most importantly. It... Has...Begun
