Sure enough, the ghost turned into my drivewayand walked very serenly up to the front door, still humming that ridiculously eerie song. He paused for a moment, then twisted the knob.

To my surprise, the door opened up with only a small squek of protest... I was certain I had locked the door, and if what I was seeing truly was happening in real life, like I had thought, it was incredibly weird that he could open the door.

Even more weird, the moment he stepped in, he vanished. Just like that. And in the moment he vanished, I felt a snap, and another sensation of cold water being dumped all over me... and then I was back in bed. The moment i realized this I jerkep up from my trance, and stoop upright in my bed.

I looked around me, out my window, and to my front door. I couldnt get a clear angle on it from where my bedroom was though, and it was impossible to tell if anyone had opened it, ghost or not. Reluctantly, I got up out of my bed, and pressed my ear to the door. What I heard sent shivers down my spine.
