Chapter 2

5 weeks before everything went to hell (Adriana Pov)

I woke up tired. It was 7 in the morning again. I did my same old routine. It's not like I could do anything else. I'm not allowed to leave unless I have work but lucky for me I have work. I went downstairs for breakfast said hi to the bodyguard Tim (He isn’t Italian he is American) and went on my way when I got to Luca’s house I opened the door and who came running up to me Allie his little sister I picked her up gave her a big hug and kissed her forehead I brought her to to kitchen sat her in her seat and gave her breakfast also. 

Adriana- So is anyone home or is it just you A. (Nickname for Allie)

Allie- It was just my brother who left two-three minutes ago.

Adriana- okay. When you're done eating you wanna watch tv.

Allie- Can we watch Elf?

Adriana-Yeah, whatever you want. 

Allie-YAYYYYY!!!

I took Allie out of the chair then started cleaning the kitchen. I followed Aliie into the living room and I put on the Elf.

1 Hour later

Allie was asleep on the couch so I just picked her up and put her in the bedroom. I had nothing to do with myself so I went back to the living room and started back on a novel that I am currently writing just to pass time. Thirty minutes into my writing the front door opened and closed. The person who was home was Luca. I shut my computer and walked into the kitchen to grab my stuff since I was able to go home now but before I could even put my bookbag on Luca started a convo with me as always.

Luca-How have you been?

Adriana- Same old same old my dad is still an asshole and a gang leader. How about you?

Luca- Still the same working and taking care of business.

Adriana-.......How is your girlfriend?

Luca- Good, can be a pain in the ass sometime but you know she is “daddy's little princess.”

Adriana- BAAHAHHAHAHAHHA. Yeah, it sounds the same as always. There was a minute of awkward silence when I looked up. All I could see was his ocean blue eyes and perfect jawline. I felt like I could die right then and there he looks so perfect in just sweats and a t-shirt.
I soon came back to reality, the sad one. I love Luca but he has a girlfriend and I know it is wrong. That is why I keep our relationship simply friendly. We made eye contact but Luca looked away from me and took a deep breath.

Lucas Pov 

All I saw in those grey eyes was love. I can't like her. I know I'm not allowed to have a girlfriend and that isn't fair to her. I had to look away if I didn't at that moment. I would have felt deeper than I already am. I cleared my throat and stopped the awkward silence.

Luca-I hope Allie wasn't too much today.

Adriana-Nope, she was all good. We watched Elf again and now she is down for her nap……...And since you are here I think it is time for me to go.

Luca- ok i'll see you Wednesdays. 

DAMMIT HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID I COULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING ELSE.. OK SEE YOU WEDNESDAY COME ON LUCA WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU.
