As she looked at the world outside, Rosemarie smiled. In the two years since she and her allies reined victorious in the battle against the mad king, she'd been living inside the fortress with Lambert & Crystal, who was now three years of age. To be fair, she deeply missed Olivia, who'd married a male dark mage whose identity she hadn't made known to them and moved out of the fortress. The other girls had also married: Lissa to Libra, Sully to Stahl, Miriel to Donnel, Sumia to Gaius, Maribelle to Ricken, Panne to Frederick, Nowi to Kellam, Tharja to Lon'qu and Cordelia to Gregor. Since Robin & Chrom had been the first to marry, they were already parents. In the main hall, Rosemarie, Flavia, Crystal, Basilio & Lambert waited for everyone to arrive. Once this happened, the khan told everyone else the Valmese Empire isn't acting as friendly as they used to be. "Why would they do this?", Rosemarie asks him. "Beats me. But I'm afraid we'll be dragged into another war and this time with Valm.", he replied. "I can't drag my girl into battle! Her father would be mad with me if I did!", she said. "Rosemarie's right, Basilio. We have to keep Crystal hidden from them for her mother's sake.", Flavia told him. "I see your point. I'm going to help you out since I'm her grandfather.", Lambert said and picked Crystal up when she ran on over to him. Everyone left and headed towards Valm's border. "Geez! Those brutes really don't know when to quit, do they?!", Cordelia said before Virion and his servant Cherche joined them. When he saw her for the first time, Vaike knew he just couldn't avoid Cherche and joined her. "Well, aren't you something?", she said to him. Once Rosemarie killed the enemy commander, the fight was over.
