A/N- I wrote this while listening to fallen down on repeat because it makes me motivated idk why. LISTEN TO IT RN.

'Tubbo I know you don't want to go back but you have to!' Phil said.
'Please!' Tubbo knew Phil wouldn't change his mind but he continued to plead had he also knew that school started soon and he so desperately didn't want to go.

And so once again the boys were dropped off at the school. 'Okay Tubbo. This way, I'll show you where your first class is.' Tommy said brightly. He lead him to the door and then waved goodbye.

'Bye Tommy.' Tubbo said sadly knowing, that his safety was gone. Now he's all alone.
He enters the classroom and takes his seat. Others come in and sit down too. Most of them not paying attention to Tubbo. Most.

'Look its him again.' A voice said from next to him.
Tubbo looks up. There he is. The same boy from last time.

Deep breath. Tubbo tried to reassure himself. Luckily or perhaps unluckily. The teacher started teaching the class.

'Today we will be doing about articles in newspapers and online.' She said. She put pictures of local news on the screen. Explaining each thing and what the writer was trying to infer by saying each thing.

'Now this one is a little gruesome, but you're old enough so please be sensible.' She said.

A gasp racked Tubbos lungs all his breath swept away. For on the board in front of him was a picture
of his parents, and directly next to it. A picture of the scene of their deaths.

He sat there. In his chair. Unable to move. Shock, horror and grief taking over everything.

He put his head down low enough so no one could see him face, or so he thought...

Because unbeknownst to Tubbo, someone was watching. Someone who oddly smiled when he saw Tubbos horror and discomfort.

How strange.

The bell rang, finally. Tubbo left as fast as he could. Quickly followed by the boy who had acted rather oddly before, but Tubbo didn't know that.

'Hey! New boy?' The boy shouts.
Tubbo turns around a scared look spreading across his face. 'Oh errr hi?' He said apprehensively.
'Do you want to be friends?' The boy asked bluntly giving a smile.
'Sure!' Tubbo said, relieved the boy hadn't made fun of him.

And so the two boys sat to together. Chatting non stop about their interests.
'Hey you want to walk home together after school?' The boy, Tubbo had now learnt the name of, was called Jake.
'Oh well I usually get a lift from my... from Phil.' Tubbo said.
'Oh.' Jake seemed disappointed but also maybe a slight hint of annoyance?

'Bye Jake!' Tubbo waved getting into the car. Tommy was already in.
'Hi Tubs!' Tommy said enthusiastically. 'Who's your friend?'
'Jake!'
'That kid? Really? He's creepy.' Tommy said.
'What'd you mean?' Tubbo asked.
'Can you not tell?! He's such a freak, he always stays behind to talk to the teacher as well.'
'He's not a freak!' Tubbo said angrily.

'Boys stop arguing.' Phil said.

Tubbo stayed away from Tommy. Almost protectively to his new friend. He was mad that Tommy would say that.

...

Over the next few days Jake and Tubbo grew closer.

Until something happened.

Something really really bad.
