Somewhere in Mumbai ....

In a Luxury Farmhouse, entitled as THE Rana's....

She enters in her room after greeting everyone off... as she sits down on the queen size round bed, covered in black embroidered silk bedsheets. She runs her hand smoothly through on the sheet feeling the different sensations her hand feels every time. Today might be a good day for her after a long time, after all, she was back to where, she thought she belonged to, in Mumbai. She never thought that after coming back to her "roots" she would feel happy, only if Anika knew that actually Mumbai was never her place to be, she didn't belong her, she belong to her roots and Mumbai was defiantly not that one thing to her, after all, all it ever gave to her was pain, first her father being killed by the oberoi's, yes she blamed them because she knew that they could've stoped everything and saved her father or at least cleared his name after but they didn't and chose their happiness, which Anika felt disgust at now. She never thought that the one man she loved, the one family she loved, she would ever feel disgust at them. Secondly, Mumbai was never her place to be at as every time, every second she was here, she felt the betrayal given to her by her ex-in laws, and all she wanted to do now, was somehow make them feel the same way as she did, the brokenness, the feeling of not being able to have anyone beside and especially, the feeling of not being able to save your family's reputation, after all  they were the reason in the first for her be left orphaned. She couldn't help but think about all the times in her childhood at the orphanage, how she looked at the kids getting adopted and then living the best happiest life ever, but unfortunately, it wasn't her, she too wanted to have a normal childhood, but she couldn't. WHY, you may ask? because of the oberois!. 

As Anika was lost in her thoughts, she didn't realise, Sid walking into her room and comfortably lying on the sofa, right to the bed. Sid carefully, studied Anika's face and thought to himself that how much she has changed in the last couple of months. She definitely wasn't the same Anika he met in Oberoi mansion, but he knew she wasn't the same Anika he met couple months ago... she was a different women, a women who has seen enough in her life at a young age, she wasn't like other women her age, she was much mature, much more sincere, especially, more then his ex-wife. Anika and Mallika were nearly the same age, but what truly surprised Sid about Anika was that she could have 10,000 arrows stabbed in her back but still stay strong and not bring her family into any problem, but with his ex-wife, it was different story, Mallika never thought about family, she dragged his reputation alongside his family's, down the drain when she divorced him, putting enough allegations on both. Which in someway again made Sid wonder, that did he fall in love with the wrong person, or was it him that changed everything.... He definitely now know that he didn't deserve what he got, he didn't deserve what mallika gave him, he deserved what Anika is giving him.... the care, the trust and especially, what he adored the most of their cute relationship was the purity of their friendship.... they never forced each other to do something, they were there for each other at their lowest points in life and that's what made Sid respect their relation more and he knew for sure that this was one friendships that he wants to cherish forever and ever..... he stumbles on the sofa as a cushion hits him on the face.... and he looks up to the direction it came from just to see Anika's confused face....

S- what? why did you hit me women?.... (he says funnily)

a- because from the last 5 mins you were ignoring me when I called you..... 

s- urmmm oh.... 

a- what oh?... stupid (she says funnily).... where were you lost huh?....

s- nothing much just thinking how much life has changed in the last 11 months and whether we really deserved what we got....
