Thanatos is a demon creature that is 118 years old (which is young) When he arrived in the area as a young kid, Mike took him in in exchange for doing cleaning tasks around his house. Of course, he only had to do things he was of age to do, until he got old enough to do more and more. Mike is like family to him, or the family he has right now.
