Mention: this chapter contains underage drinking/consumption of alcohol. If this makes you uncomfortable, feel free to skip over the chapter. However, I do not condone or support the action of underage drinking, it is merely serving a purpose to the plot of the story. Also, the way the characters act in this book does not refer to the real idols or their faceclaims. This is merely a work of fiction, and I'm sure everyone mentioned in this book are lovely people in real life.
"Minji-ah!" Jimin shouted for his sister, everyone slightly irritated for having to wait so long for her to get ready. "By the time you get down here, we would've already turned 19!"
"One second, Jimin!" She shouted back, not knowing everyone else was waiting for her as well.
"I can go up and get her--"
But before Aera could finish her sentence, Minji walked out of her room and down the stairs. Everyone turned their heads at the girl in her silver crop top and black skirt. Everyone looked at the unexpecting girl as she trailed down the stairs, not lifting her head until she began to speak, surprised to see everyone else as well.
"Jimin, do you think-- oh!" She exclaimed, startled by them all. "Sorry I took so long."
"It's fine," Aera smiled, walking forward before placing a kiss on her girlfriend's cheek. "Happy birthday."
"Thanks," Minji smiled, standing next to Aera.
"Is everyone ready?" Jimin looked around, Sunghoon and Heeseung both mumbling while Aera and Minji eagerly nodded.
And with that, the five teens left the Yang's home, making their way slowly down the street to the new Korean restaurant, which just so happened to also be a popular spot for partying and drinking. They all got their fake IDs ready as they approached the bar, quickly ordering a drink after they were able to pass for the age listed.
Afterward, they all made their way over to a table and placed an order, everyone only slightly intoxicated by the time the food had gotten to the table. For the most part, the night was going well so far. Aera and Minji were in their own little world while across the table Heeseung, Sunghoon, and Jimin were all having a conversation... until the food was brought over.
"Beef ramyeon?" The waitress asked, bringing over the bowl.
"Me!" Both Heeseung and Minji piped up at the same time, before sending a glare at each other.
"I ordered first," Minji quickly spoke, looking to the waitress who went to set it down in front of her, only to hear Heeseung speak again.
"I'm older." He stated.
"It's my birthday," Minji tilted her head with a smirk.
"Fine," Heeseung seethed, feeling everyone's eyes on him. "There's your birthday present."
