Karl hates storms and try's to play it cool but Sapnap can see his uneasiness

It was nearing 11pm but the two had no intention on going to sleep just yet. Sapnap had come to visit karl for a few weeks and they wanted to spend as much time together as possible.
Sapnaps phone buzzed as he picked it up he read it to Karl.
"Severe thunderstorms lasting 11:30 -2am" Sapnap looked up from his phone with expressionless eyes.
"Oh that's unfortunate.." Karl said fighting back his nerves.
Sapnap looked at the TV they we're watching and asked what they should watch next.
Karl shrugged.
Sapnap reached for the remote and the lights flicker before shutting off completely.
Karl let out a gasp In surprise.
Sapnap turned the flashlight on on his phone and checked the window.
It sure as hell was raining but the storm has only just started.
The sky light up illuminating the room before fading back to darkness. Shortly after the sky cracks with roars of thunder. Karl is gripping the bottom of his shirt trying to control his nerves.
" looks like this will be going for a few hours" Sapnap said as he made his way back to the couch.
"Y..yeah" Karl stuttered fighting back his anxiety.
"You ok?" Sapnap questions the older.
All Karl does is nod
Sapnap reaches for Karl's hand to comfort him.
Karl looks at him but doesn't feel any relief about the situation.
Sapnap then stands up, phone shining the dark room, and guides karl to the guest room he's staying in.
"Here" Sapnap says ushering him to sit on the bed with him.
Karl hesitantly sits down only to be dragged down by the younger into spooning position.
Karl says nothing. He can't bring himself to say anything.
"Is this ok?" Sapnap says scooting away from Karl.
Karl scoots back into Sapnaps arms. Sapnap took that as a yes. He then threw a blanket on over them and wrapped himself around karl.
Karl smiles at his new sense of security and drifts off to sleep the storm no longer on his mind.
Sapnap, smiling at the soft boy, listens to the light snoring from the older. He intertwined his hand with Karl's and soon drifts off into a comforting sleep.
