The next day, Avy went to the Diner. When she entered, she noticed that not many people were in there, probably too busy with their works and all. She went to the counter and saw Lucky counting the money.

"Hey Lucky" She greeted and Lucky smiled.

"Hey Avy. What can I do for you?" She asked.

"I just want to know where the new worker is" Avy looked around to search for Trevor.

"Who? Trevor?" Lucky asked and Avy nodded.

"He's in the Freezer room. Got him start there" Lucky answered and Avy cringed.

"Not a good start huh" Avy commented.

"Why do you need to know, though?" Lucky asked and Avy faked a smile.

"Just curious" She replied and Lucky looked at her perplexed.

"Anyway, gotta talk to him! See ya later!" Avy waved and ran straighted to the Freezer room.

When Avy got there he saw him moving the burgers. She noticed that even though he was wearing a jacket, he was still shivering. She also noticed that the jacket he was wearing was familiar.

"Tough work, huh" She commented and Trevor stopped and looked at her in surprise.

"W-What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Just need to talk with you" Avy replied.

"Talk to me?" He questioned and Avy nodded.

"Anyway, I noticed that you're wearing the jacket of Lucky's boyfriend?" She pointed and Trevor looked at it.

"Yeah..she gave it to me when she walked here. Tried to give it back but she insisted" Trevor explained.

"So kind of her, am I right?" Avy asked with a smirk, making Trevor blush. Avy laughed at his expression.

"Look, if you're only here to laugh at me, you can go now" Trevor sighed and continued his work.

"Sorry, I almost forgot the reason. There's something I need you to do for me" Avy said and he looked at her.

"And why should I?" He asked.

"You like Lucky don't you?" She asked bluntly. Trevor stopped and choked. He looked at her in surprise.

"W-Wha—"

"You don't need to deny it. I mean, it's pretty obvious" Avy told him.

"Anyway, since you like her, you should go for it" She said and he looked confuse.

"Doesn't she already have....you know, a boyfriend?" He questioned and Avy shrugged

"So? She's not bound to him, so they could still break up. And right not, you're the only guy who seems...normal" Avy explained.

"Geez, I don't know if I should feel honored or insulted" He rolled his eyes.

"Be glad I'm helping you" She said.

"Who says about stealing her? I'm not that kind of person" Trevor said.

"Come on! It's not like you're going to do something bad! You're just going to need to show her that you're better than her idiotic boyfriend! She's be the one who'll do the breakup thing" Avy told him.

"Aren't you the one who suppose to tell their best friend to stay loyal?" He questioned.

"I am, but if her boyfriend is not good for her then I am not gonna let her be with that idiot for any longer. I just want my best friend to have someone who will treat her right and not toss her whenever they feel like" Avy explained and Trevor stared at her.

"So, are you in or not?" She asked. Trevor thought about it for a moment before nodding. Avy grinned and held her hand out and Trevor shook it.

"You'll have your first girlfriend in no time" She said as the let go.

"How can you assume that I never had a girlfriend? I could had one for all you know" He questioned and Avy scoffed.

"Please, with your flirting skills? Never in a million years, Lovesick boy" Avy replied.

"What's with that nickname?" He asked.

"Well, it's a cool nickname. Oh! Did the guys already invited you to the mountain later?" She asked and he nodded.

"Y-Yeah, Lucky was the one who invited me" He shyly answered.

"We can take that as a first step. We'll plan some things later. See ya, Lovesick boy!" He waved at him and left.

"Weird girl" He muttered but was happy that somehow, he felt like he had made a new friend from Summerville.
