DAYTIME

The school day was going smoothly as their hasn't been any fallen angel activity recently. Yusuke also informed of what happened last night as he informed Ren that he should talk to Rias alone. The day was going by as Ren offered to help Vara and the girls with their studies. 

Vara: Thanks for helping us out, Ren. 

Ren: It's no problem. 

Loona: I'm still wondering how you still trust us. Even if it means we're part of a bad group, besides Vara. 

Morgana: Can't really explain it, but I get the feeling this bad group your working with has a deeper meaning. You two don't seem like bad people, let alone being demons in disguises. 

Octavia: He does have a point. 

Loona: Look, even if that's true, there's no telling that my group could choose you as a target. 

Vara: How deadly are your group?

Loona: As a matter of fact, they're... not anything special, but certainly not to be underestimated. 

Morgana: If anything, I bet we can negotiate with them to join us, seeing as you're comfortable with being around us. 

Loona: I always thought humans were idiots, but from what we saw... I think I ate my words. 

Octavia: Not to mention, we're helping the Phantom Thieves. 

Loona: I know.. it's like a dream that I didn't even know it can come true. 

Vara: .....

Ren: Is something wrong?

Vara: Oh no, it's nothing. I was just thinking back to when I first saw my Persona. For some reason... Izanagi reminds me.. of my father. 

Morgana: You haven't really told us about your life, haven't you, Narukami?

Vara: I didn't. It's something I usually don't like to talk about. Especially... what happened to my father.... 

The group went silent as they were now curious about Vara's backstory. The silence was broken as Rias walked up to the group. 

Rias: Ren Amamiya?

Ren: Hm? Oh, Gremory-san?

Rias: I wish to talk to you in private. The cat can come as well. 

Ren: ...

Morgana: It looks like we have no choice. I mean, Yusuke did tell us to meet her alone. 

Ren: Alright. 

He then stands up as he collects his bag. 

Ren: I'll see you all later. 

Vara: See you around, Ren. 

After waving, he then follows Rias into the ORC building. Upon entering, he notices that no one was in the building, confirming what Rias said to talk alone. The two entered the club room as they sat down to talk. 

Rias: I wanted to talk to you and the cat alone. I'm not trying to antagonize you or anything, I just want to confirm a few things. That is if you're willing to comply.

Ren: Sure. 

Rias: Okay, let's start from the beginning. It all started when Issei was killed by Raynare. Apparantly, you and the cat were in the area when Issei was killed.
