Lin Xin hoped to earn a lot of money quickly. However, earning money takes time, of which she had very little.
She wanted to work efficiently, ensuring that nothing went to waste.
Ten or twenty years from now, all of the businesses she founded would still exist. None of them declining to the point where she'd have to close it down.
After plenty of deliberation, she finally chose for her new company to specialize in technology.
She directly utilized her status as a transcended to steal ideas from future generations. With this, Lin Xin developed an app for mobile phones that was formerly the popular "WeChat" of the time, and now functions with chat software.
She planned to seek a partner, with whom she might work together. Then, she'd utilize her own executive power to found a company that will garner resources to raise money.
She might not have much money now, but in five or ten years, she would accumulate endless profits.
Under Lin Xinyu's ID, she registered a company and rented an office.
On the first day, she set up a computer and a printer. The next step was to initiate recruitment procedures. After she sent out recruitment ads, an increasing amount of people visited to apply. In half a day, she had greeted four to five candidates. However, none of them said a word before leaving.
Things were not running as smoothly as she had initially expected. A dozen applicants stopped by and, in the end, not one of them stayed.
At this point, she hoped to forget about today, then return tomorrow to recruit more disciples. Just as she was about to pack up and head home, someone walked into the office.
The person who arrived appeared clean and fair. Standing at a height of 1.72 meters, he couldn't be considered fat but had a medium build and a pretty appearance.
Trodding in, he shyly inquired, "Are you the one who asked for a software developer?"
Lin Xin directly asked, "What university did you graduate from?"
"S University, Computer [Science] Department."
Lin Xin continued, "How long have you worked?"
He replied, "I'm still in my fourth year."
"What's your name?"
"Yu Fei."
College students boasted no work experience, but that didn't mean they didn't have the ability to work.
Lin Xin inquired, "Can you develop software?" In fact, she only understood the technical aspects vaguely.
Yu Fei pulled out and handed Lin Xin a USB drive. "This is a little game I worked on in my free time. Do you want to take a look?"
Lin Xin accepted the USB drive and inserted it into her computer.
Once she opened the file he pointed toward, a small interface popped open and a ball popped out.
She clicked and the ball exploded. This then happened to a second ball, as well as a third.
Lin Xin couldn't help but think of the game called "Watermelon Cut." It was a game that even idiots could play. However, at that time, it grew extremely popular and rose to become the best game in the world.
However, this sort of game only succeeded in mobile. It was as common as cabbages on computers. Although Lin Xin didn't understand the technology that profoundly, she understood one point clearly: these typically require few skills to develop.
"This looks too simple," Lin Xin pointed out.
Yu Fei whispered back timidly, "It is relatively simple, but, if you can play this game anytime, anywhere, don't you think it'd be interesting? Not everyone can play when a game's complicated, but everyone can play simple games. We don't need to complicate things. We just need to remain as simple as possible."
Ten years in the future, these reverse opinions of his may not matter much. However, at this moment ten years prior to her own time, this style of perspective may have an innovative impact.
Who would have thought that, in the near future, a certain phone brand's motto would be: We must keep everything extremely simple so that users experience our products smoothly. Everything must be so simple, users can easily pick up on its usage.
Lin Xin decided on the spot that this man should come to work tomorrow. However, he was a university student who needed to sit in class, so he'd only be available to come to work in the afternoon, when classes were over, as well as during weekends.
Since the beginning, Lin Xin didn't mind these small issues. As long as he completed his job well, he can work anytime.
While Lin Xin and Yu Fei discussed logistics and games, Lin Xin commented on Yu Fei's way of thinking. He listened attentively, and his eyes brightened when she praised him for thinking ahead of the current times.
The two of them conversed until six in the evening when they realized that it was time to eat.
