"here's some water sir, hope this calms down your nerves just a bit" (y/n) handed law a glass of water

"thank you, (y/n)-ya" law nods.

"captain, if it is rude of me to ask, why do you say '-ya' at the end of everyone's names sometimes not at bepo or mine?" (y/n) asked.

"I just picked it up from my father, it's a habit that accidentally stuck with me for years..."

"I see... Thanks for your answer"

"(y/n)-ya, why are you so polite?"

"well... Kristen taught me to be polite at anyone despite them not being polite to you, so... I guess I learned a... 'valuable'? Lesson" (y/n) shrugs

"... But mostly to annoy enemies and avoid chaos, you won't fight against the person that's being kind to you all the way, right?" (y/n) continuous and laughs.

"huh... That's a nice sense of fighting technique." law chuckled.

"I won't... Don't worry," law rolled his eyes, "and besides... Being as kind and polite as you must be hard, especially in fights..."

"you're tired... Let me carry you to your room"

"no no, I can walk just fine" (y/n) stretched.

Law chuckled before pulling her close and lifting her bridal style

(y/n) wrapped her arms around his neck and her head in his chest, hearing his soft yet fast heart beats.

"I'll bring you to your room okay? Don't worry" (y/n) nodded

Her eyes felt heavy before finally closing them as law chuckles

"that fast? I bet she can't pull an all-nighter" law chuckles before heading to her bedroom.

Next day...
