From The Beginning// Natsu X Reader Fanfic

Chapter 1, Meeting

Hi, my name is Y/N and I live in a small Apartment in Magnolia. I live by myself which I don't completely mind. I used to live in New York City, but I moved to Magnolia because I wanted to pursue my dream ever since I was little. Which is to become a member of the Fairy Tail guild. You might be like; "Well, you dont have magic, so you can't be a member". Actually, I do, I'm a celestial wizard i have 3 Zodiac keys which are; Aquarius, Leo and Virgo. Sadly, I never get to use them, because I've never been in a situation where I've had to. I have more spirits as well, but to be completely honest, I forgot what they're called, but they are sliver keys, I know that; but today was the day that my dream would finally come true.

I was on my way to the Fairy Tail Guild, and I was standing at the door, but me being me; I was overthinking everything. I was thinking; "what if they didnt want me?. What if i wasnt good enough?". So, I turned away and started walking back home. On my way home, I saw something that I didn't see on the way to Fairy Tail. I saw a lot of people in a circle crowded around something. I was curious, so I went to see what all the commotion was about, and it was a pink-haired guy with a scarf around his neck, and a blue cat doing weird dances like the macarena. I laughed so hard but then he just started staring at me and i said; "got a problem with how i laugh" the blue cat replies with; "you're weird". As soon as he says that a dude with black hair and a girl with red hair drags the pink haired dude by his scarf saying NATSU WE ARE LATE TO OUR JOB WENDY AND LUCY ARE ALREADY THERE WAITING FOR US AND YOUR GOOFING OFF!!! After that you thought to yourself Natsu thats a nice name then I was about to walk back home but then you noticed the Fairy Tail mark on Natsu's arm and in my head you say this is my chance. I caught up to them and said this as i was studdering "Hi um... i saw your mark and um..." Natsu then cut me off and said "Oh u have those keys you must be the same type of wizard my friend Lucy is whats it called again um..." Then the red haired girl said "She is a Celestial Wizard Natsu" Then Natsu said " Right what kind of keys you got" then you start getting all shy. The dude said "Hey Natsu dont make them feel uncomfortable" Natsu then said "I'm not you stupid Ice brain" The other guy then said "oh yeah well then why is she mumbling then" Then they got into a huge fight.

Then I said it all in one breath; "I saw your mark on your arm and I was willing to see if you could use anyone in Fairy Tail, because I really wanna join". with that they all stopped and stared for a minute, then all three of them said at the same time; "No problem, just go to the Guild Hall and they will get you all set up". I then screamed in joy. Then Natsu said; "I wont go on this mission". The other two people asked; "Why not Natsu?" He then replied with; "I'll make sure that they get to the guild safe and sound. You two go". then the girl with the red hair said; "Well, it is what it is. come on Grey". I then thought to myself; "that's his name, so then who is the red haired girl?" I thought. I then asked; "Umm... Miss, whats your name?" she then said; "How rude of me to not introduce myself. I'm Erza, nice to meet you!" "Nice to meet you as well". I said. Erza then replied with; "nice to meet you to now we should really be on our way. Natsu, I'm counting on you to make sure um... Excuse me, but I don't know your name". "Oh my name is Y/N" I said. "nice to meet you Y/N well we are off. bye Y/N! bye Natsu!" said Erza.
