It was time to get ready for the ball so I walked upstairs to my room and got into the shower so I could wash my hair because I didn't have time this morning.

After I had washed my hair I blow dried it and curled it slightly so that it looked wavy.
I then started doing my makeup, I did a smoky eye and some deep red lipstick.

Once I was finished I walked into my room and grabbed a matching dark green underwear and bra.

I then took the dress out of the bag and put it on. I groaned thinking about how uncomfortable it will be to drive to the boarding house in this.

I put on some gold heels and walked downstairs.

I texted Damon as I walked outside to my car.

I rolled my eyes at his dry ass response and started the engine of the car, I drove to his house and parked in the drive way, Damon walked outside instantly and he motioned for me to get into the passenger side.

I climbed out of the car and walked around to the other side. We both got in and he started driving to the Mikaelsons.

"You look beautiful by the way" he commented as we parked the car outside of the mansion.

"Thank you Damon. You clean up nice too." I said smiling fakely at him remembering What he did to bekah.

He didn't notice as we both climbed out of the car and made out way inside.

My eyes went to Rebekah almost instantly and as if feeling my gaze she looked at me and smiled softly. I saw she was standing next to Elijah who was also looking at me, he smiled when I met his gaze making Rebekah confused.

Damon dragged me over to Carol and I let out a sigh because I wanted to go hang out with Bekah.

He grabbed 2 drinks off of a passing waiter and handed one to me.

"Thanks" I took a sip as we both stood next to Carol.

"Hello" she greeted us both.

"Hanging out with your new besties?" Damon questioned sarcastically making her sigh in exasperation.

"I'm the mayor Damon. When the oldest, deadliest family of vampires moves into your town you welcome them with a smile." She informed him as I swirled the champagne in my glass with a bored face.

"Well at least you know who you're borrowing that cup of sugar from" he replied with a smirk.

"I'm trying to protect this town. They've assured me they want peace and I assured them that I'd enforce it" Carol said back to him making me roll my eyes.

"Mayor Lockwood." A unfamiliar voice greeted her. I looked up and saw a handsome young guy.
"We haven't formally met, Kol Mikaelson" he introduced himself kissing carols hand and I smiled excited to meet another one of Bekah's brothers.

"We hope your lovely town embraces us just as much as we plan to embrace it." He said to her and she smiled fakely at him.

Kol then turned to me and made a show of checking me out making my face turn into one of amusement.

"I'm Tyra Forbes" I introduced myself as he lifted my hand towards his lips and kissed the back of it like a gentleman.

If I wasn't totally in love with his sister I might have swooned. I smiled politely at him taking my hand out of his grasp.

"Lovely to meet you" he smiled at me.

"Damon Salvatore. Have we met?" Damon cut in taking Kol's attention.
