Chapter 6

Emily sat at the table eating her food. Atticus sat across eating and reading his book. Radly picked up his fork and looked to Atticus.

"What where you and Emily doing last night that made you come home late way pass dinner."

Radly said as Atticus turned the page of his book.

"We where out taking care of some sick people. It took much longer then I expected."

Atticus said. Radly smiled a bit holding the fork in his hand.

"Atticus my son, why don't you come here."

Radly said being completely ignored by Atticus why into his book. Atticus went to put some food into his mouth when he was grabbed and dragged on to the floor. His hand was on the table and got stabbed by Radly and the fork. Emily and Alien stood up as Atticus hand started to bleed. Radly keep pushing the fork more in.

"Radly!! Stop your going to break."

Alien started to said but before she could finish a crack made her stop in her words. Alien covered her mouth and started to cry as Emily ran over to Radly and pushed him making the fork drop to the ground. Radly looked to Emily angry then went to go hit her but before he could Atticus stood up with a crack everyone looked to him. He was holding his bleeding hand and pulled it making it crack. Atticus turned and looked to Radly who was still holding the stand ready to hit Emily.

"Father, your over working yourself again. I suggest you take the day off."

Atticus said. Radly put his hand down and sat down.

"Guess you are right."

Radly said. Emily went and sat back down with Alien. Atticus walked out of the room and a big bang happened they all looking to the door to see Atticus walk back in with some bandages. He came and sat down an started rapping his hand.

"Sorry about the blood on the wall. I had to move my bone back into place better. I'll make sure to clean it up once I finish up my meal."

Atticus said. Radly nodded his head and went back to eating.

"Atticus we can call you off from school."

Radly said seeming to feel sorry about his hand. Emily watched as the eyes of Atticus looked over to Radly. Alien wiped her crying off.

"There is no need for such a thing. I'm going to school even with my hand is hurt."

Atticus said finishing up his hand. Radly looked up to Atticus who went back to eating and reading. They all went back to eating not a word said. Radly stood at the door with a red heart and knocked being answered by Atticus.

"Yes father?"

Atticus asked not being use to Radly coming up to his room. Radly's mouth opened but nothing came out he wanted to say something just couldn't get it out. Atticus moved out of the way letting Radly into his room. Radly looked around seeming to not know what Atticus did with his room. Radly walked around for a bit looking around seeming to try to think of what he would say as Atticus closed the door and sat on his bed with a book in hand. Radly walked back and forth before turning to Atticus who was on the bed reading a book with his lags cross.

"Look I'm sorry what I did was completely wrong Atticus. I just wanted you to know I love you."

Radly said feeling a bit weird saying that. Atticus didn't say anything for a long time then he closed his book and the light in his room turned off Radly looked over to the curtains to see Atticus standing there putting his hand out. Radly walked over putting his hand in Atticus then he got pulled. Radly couldn't see a thing but as he stood there fro a second he opened his eyes now being able to see clearly they where standing in a colorful garden of flowers and trees with some birds and a pond being very deep. Radly looked around in the room that had walls painted to look like sky. Atticus smiled letting go of Radly and walking forward into the green grass. Radly followed behind seeming to  walk into a world of magic birds sing and waterfalls could be seen and hard all around. Trees of many kinds where tall and colorful apples and watermelon where being grown. Radly keep following Atticus throw looking to the colorful plants all around. Radly went throw a plant to find Atticus sitting there at a table with white chairs with a tree cut out of the back. A table in the middle of the two chairs was white with the cut shape cut out a tea set was on the glass top of the table. Radly walked over and sat down as Atticus pored some tea into a cup on a plant. Atticus pushed it over to Radly and he took a drink of it looking around.
