A dark pit, or hole? She was falling so long it was almost like the bottomless pit. 'I don't like this, this is definitely a nightmare, what do I do again? Oh right!' After reaching for her cheek she squeezed as hard as she could. "Ow! Damn I thought that would work." She said frustrated. "What the hell?" She had looked in the direction she was falling towards and saw a small white light, growing bigger.
Once she went through the sudden white place, she felt a pain in the back of her head. When looking up she saw someone's arm open a rectangle door, making it creak loud.
Without the door to hold her she fell but was caught before it was too late. They sat her up on the ground and tried to wake her up. She limply slapped the hand from her face and mumbled.
"Mariko! Wake up!" Yeah, her name was Mariko Keina, she was actually kinda short, around 5'0. She is the ultimate babysitter, she looked like a child more than anything so it was hard to believe. But once you see her in action, it becomes a whole lot more believable.
"Hands off." She said drowsily. "5...more minutes." She said, trying to fall asleep.
"No, you aren't going to do this." It was a males voice. Sighing with a very upset look, she slowly opens her eyes and tries to rub the sleep away.
"Oh hey, it's Kioshi! What are you doing here? Also, where are we?" She said ignoring that the room was covered in vines. Kioshi was her brother, they were twins but didn't look like it. He was the ultimate lawyer, he was around the height of 5'6. "Hey...doesn't this place kinda look like the orphanage?" She said out of the blue. She had tilted her head when asking.
She and her brother were actually raised in an orphanage. They only had enough money for one to go to school so they had Kioshi go, he went to law school because that's what he wanted to do.
Mariko earned money for the orphanage by being a babysitter, she actually wasn't the only one there who had a job to raise money. There was another girl who also had a job, though Mariko doesn't remember her name.
Kioshi paid attention to the last question which kinda startled him a bit. "Um, well." He looked around the room. "Maybe a little, but why are we talking about that right now?" He said before grabbing her arms to help her up. "Come on." He said, motioning her to follow with his hand.
She started following him before looking down, her eyes lit up as bright as the sun. She had forgotten what she put on.
It was a puffy dress, it cut off above the knees, it was black with a white ribbon tied around her torso. Long dark blue socks and black kitten heels.
(A/N: This is my drawing, just imagine the image with shoes and socks.)
She was beautiful in it, it went well with her deep blue eyes, her blond hair was up in a soft and fluffy high ponytail, the tips were black as night.
The only problem was she couldn't run very well. She closed the door behind her and caught up with her brother to hold his hand.
They walked around a little before seeing a dragon statue. The statue seemed to be missing an eye. Next to the statue was a blue headed girl matching her blue outfit.
"What a weird statue thingy...*pfft* the things messing with my speech" Mariko was pointing at the dragon with her other hand covering her mouth, it was pretty cute. She started asking to get on her brother's back stating she was tired.
"Hey Kioshi? The statue's getting kinda creepy, let's go somewhere else and come back when it's not as creepy, okay?" She said while snuggling in the crook of his neck.
"What about the girl next to the statue?" He asked as he walked. Mariko just mumbled something before she began to snore. "Mariko, don't fall asleep! What about the girl? Do you want to talk to her later or something?" He shook her slightly.
When he did that, her eyes slowly opened. She leaned in close to his face and spoke softly. Almost as if she was telling a secret.
"Yeah, how about this. Let's see if they have a dining room. I'm starving right now, plus you might find people to talk to! Make friends." She said before giggling.
He lightly punched her shoulder as best as he could before also laughing. "C'mon Mariko, don't exclude yourself, you'll make so many friends, I know it. Alright let's go then."
That's it for now!🙃🙂
