It was an afternoon.

The couple left the class blushing at eachother, Izumi looked around to see noone and left a sigh of relief he looked towards miho who smiled at him while playfully tilting her head slightly, "(fuck this is too cute.)" He thought to himself,

"I-I think we should get going" he muttered, Miho nodded in agreement and started to follow him as the two began to walk together

Miho and Izumi grabbed eachother by the hands as they happily walked side by side, Izumi checked his phone and was surprised that it was already 5 o' clock. Suddenly, Miho jumped on his back, by instinct he grabbed her and gave her a piggy back ride

"Oh crap!- That surprised me Goddamn-" he exclaimed. Miho chuckled whilst she playfully cheered, Izumi laughed it off and continued walking, Miho yawns as she leaned into him "mnghh~" 

Izumi sighs and blushed, but then. He felt a droplet of water fell on his head, he looked up to see a cloudy sky, Miho jerked up surprised by the cloudy and rainy sky. Izumi then rushed towards his dorms trying to escape the rain

The rain droplets began to fell and it progresses to a heavy rain, Izumi curses as he continued to rush towards a shelter from all the rain

-a bit of running later-

He stopped at a hallway of the dorms, "Hah~ phew..." Izumi pants while holding himself up on his ankles as miho hops off from his back, after he regain his footing. The pair laughed together while the rain fell on the windows and roof.

"You ran so fast!" Miho chuckled

"Goddamn-" he scoffed, he popped his joints and cracks his knuckles, he yawned while he looked around and realized, "Oh, this is my dorm but..." He remarked as he scratches his head, Miho tilted his head in confusion. Izumi then turned towards and apologizes...

"Im sorry but i should've dropped you off at your dorms but i can take you there! here, I'll get the umbrella-"

"a-ah~ no no, it's fine..."

"But miho, l-look how heavy the rain is out there!" He pointed out from the balcony to the flurry of hail, she looked out into the foggy and blurry mess and sighed, Izumi stared at the bummed out looking Miho. He pouts and tapped her shoulders

"maybe.. you could stay here for a bit?" He nervously said while he fixes his hat from the brim. Miho's eyes lit up as she furiously blushed, she slowly nodded, "mhmpf- o-okay..." He sheepishly said with the brim of his hat covering his eyes. He nervously opened his doors, both of their hearts dropped while they entered the room.

*Shut.* The door was closed snd Miho was sitting on his bed looking out from the windows, a sweat flew down Izumi's face as he walks in. Miho noticed Izumi and smiled at him cauing him to jerk back in embarrassment. Izumi gained his composure and laid down next to miho, "mhmhm" he mumbles aimlessly.

"Mh? What's wrong Izumi?"

"Nothing, just tired. Make yourself feel at home okay?~" he smiled a bit, Miho playfully pats him in the head whilst continuing to idled on with her endless staring

"something's bothering you.." he muttered, "ah-" miho froze in place while Izumi laid still and watches, he sighs and pats her in the shoulder

"You could tell me~" he said with a soft smile which brightens miho, she nodded no and Izumi scoffed, he stood up and went up to his table, he then started brewing two cup of tea for him and Miho

"Thanks.." Miho says, Izumi gave her a thumbs up, after a bit. They were both sipping a nice warm cup of tea as they have a small talk about eachother

"About your old days... Aren't you from Kuromarine?" Izumi said as he finishes his cup of tea. Miho nodded as she finishes aswell,

"Hmf, head that they're scary skilled. But they care less about their tankers in my opinion i mean, some few incidents and controversies, a lotta paper work right? Heh," he chuckled,

"Also, oddly. You look familiar to that commander back in-"miho sets down her cup and froze in place, Izumi instantly notices and,

"w-what's wrong?" Izumi stuttered

"I dont kn- ah! n-nothing... Im s-sorry..." She panicked,

"What are you sorry for? You didn't do anything wrong!" He lunged back

"I d-did a bad thing!" She sulked

"Nonsense! Why did they-"

"Them... T-They-"

"Umpf!" Izumi scoffed and patted her head, Miho hugged his arm making Izumi smiled a bit. "It's alright~" He said cupping her face. Miho calms down and got her composure back "thank you," a little thank you was heard from miho

"Anytime~ also.. sorry if that was touchy, i didn't know those were bad memories... Shit, damn it.." Izumi muttered.

"But, You're a great commander Miho! Why would you say those things to yourself?"

"You doubt yourself too much... Same with me that is," he scoffed sadly, Miho starts to worry and was confused at his comment.

"Why'd everyone there liked me? Im just a laid back newbie I couldn't even stand up for myself and just... uh, maybe those guys were correct about me.." he whispers With a disgusted look on his face.

"b-but that's not true.. It doesn't Matter!" Miho replied causing Izumi to flinch in shock,

"Actually.. a friend of mine once said, it all matters, here.." Miho mutters as she pointed to Izumi's chest, more specifically his heart.

"You're a good person~"

Izumi froze in place and sighs, a moment later he chuckled and smiles, followed by Miho "guess we felt the same thing huh?" Izumi mutters, he and Miho moved in slowly and after that, they locked into a tight hug

"Thank you." Both of them whispers in unison,

"Miho's Asleep.." he pondered while glancing at Miho who was sleeping Peacefully in a pile of blanket, he was sitting on his desktop and a moment later he yawned and stretches his body out, "its cold... I should sleep too" he told himself. He turned back to see Miho awake, leaning on the bedframe

"brr... Guh.. uhm.."  she mumbles, Izumi jumps out in shock, seeing her suddenly woke up from her sleep, Izumi slowly got up from his chair and got up on his head

"i-it's c-cold... uh-" Miho shivered from the cold of the rain, Izumi went blank as he doesn't know what to do,

"what..? are you-" Miho stopped herself seeing Izumi pinning her against the wall "e-eh?~" she was surprised from Izumi's sudden..

He closes his eyes while he tentatively blushed, he moved closer besides her and whispers, "I love you.."

Miho smiles as she gave a kiss on his cheek, "love you.. too~" a second later they were staring down at eachother, they went closer and both of their lips met, turning it into a long kiss,

"h-hah~" they both snapped out of the kiss and smiled at eachother, both of them laid down. Izumi continues to hug Miho while slowly putting her head on his chest as she tightly hugged him, a smile and a single tear of happiness flew down Izumi's face

Miho continues enjoy his company as the couple, finally fell asleep together
