The Boy Savior

I wake on a bed in the tree. I slowly get up and notice I still have my weapons. I walk out to this rooms balcony and see Vi talking to Ekko. I run and jump behind them, making them jump high from being scared.

"How the hell did you do that!?" Vi says

"Uh, I'll tell you later. Anyway, you like the tree?"

"It's amazing." Vi awes.

As Ekko is giving her a tour, we make it to the Memorial Wall as I'm on it. We stare at it, and Ekko says.

"I thought most of the people on this wall were dead. I guess things can change, right?"

"No, they are dead." They all look at me but soon realise I am right. All those little kids and late parents are dead. We changed for the better or worse.

My younger self was painted in between Vi and Powder. Ekko gives the hard truth about Powder now being Jinx, and I still don't believe it. I feel like she can be Powder and Jinx. Maybe she can be both.

I take in the wonders of nature and find Bruce. He's a male batperson with a kid, I wave at him and play with the babies hair. I'm kinda like the godmother of this baby.

All while I was doing this, they retrieved Caitlyn, and I felt bad for being rude to her. So I look into her eyes and say.

"Ekko, Vi, let me speak to Caitlyn alone, please." They nod and go away to an exit and wait.

"I wanna say thank you. Since you did save Vi in a way, and I want to let you know. If you need a high class under city friend. Then I'm always here." I smile.

"That is something I never thought I'd hear from you. But thanks."

"No problem."

We then see the other two come to us. Ekko, being older, Ekko gets all complacent with Caitlyn, but eventually, we are able to get through a passage way with the help of Bruce.

We make our way through a tunnel and see a plethora of actual Firelights more than I've ever seen. Vi fills me in on what the plan is.

Once we make it to the bridge by another secret passage. And we make it to the top, but as we walk Vi stops.

"Vi?" I say

"I can't leave her again."

"You can't change her." Ekko says

"I have to try."

"Don't get yourself killed." Ekko hugs Vi.

"No promises." She jokes

Then she hugged Caitlyn.

"It's been real cupcake. Thanks. For everything."

"Cupcake?" I whisper to myself.

I then walk next to Vi.

"I'm coming with you."

She nods, and we walk away, and I wave bye to Ekko and Caitlyn. I look at Vi and she holds my hands, and I hold hers. I get a eary feeling, but it's snuffed out from me and Vi having a moment.

*gunshot*

Me and Vi turn to the bridge and run there. The fog hides whatever is going on, and Vi calls out for Caitlyn. And we have firelights following us?

They land on different people, and one lands on my nose.

"Cute." Then a timer goes off, and countless explosions happen all around us. One being right in my face.

I hear humming, and it reminds me of the red bridge. I get up and wipe the ash from my face. And I see as Vi runs to Caitlyn and helps her, but what I fail to see is Jinx behind me. She starts shooting but I, like a dumbass, just turn around and get full of lead but not really, the Arcane came in clutch and acted as a armor on my skin making the bullets bounce off but it still felt like I got shot in my legs, arms and torso but before anything tragic happens Ekko saves me and I pull myself to the side of the bridge and watch as Vi leaves the bridge with Caitlyn but not without looking at me.

"Just go."

She nods, and I watch Ekko pull out a pocket watch and swing it in his hand.

'I remember this game' I continue to watch as just in a few seconds Ekko predicts when and how the bullets are shot and move. He executes the plan and gets solid hits on Jinx.

But as he pulls back for one final punch, he stops and stares, but Jinx sets off one huge explosion, pushing me further back.

'Fuck. Ekko... Jinx...' and I cough up blood and pass out, wondering if my family is ok.
