"FRIDAY, sweetie, tell me again." Tony sat in his lab, his fingers flicking away at a keyboard.

"Steve and Bucky have not been in the tower for."  The computer pauses. "Approximately 26  hours."

"Thats what I though you said." Tony rubs a hand over his face, tugging at his hair before going back to scrolling through something. "Do you have any locations?"

"I'm afraid not, Boss."   Tony swore FRIDAY sounded a little remorseful.

"Sigh.. alright, let's go drop the bomb." Tony took in a large breath, spinning around and getting off his rolley chair. He picked at his desk, pushing things around. DUM-E whirled past, beeping at him. "Not an actual bomb, dumbass.." Tony left the lab, trudging into the elevator.

"To the community floor, boss?"  FRIDAY's mechanical voice hummed, already sending him that way. "Most people are there. I will alert all who are not to go. Immediately. "  Tony could only smile at his creation,  nodding.

Peter woke slowly, feeling his eyelids were too heavy to open. He could only whimper quietly for a few minutes. S-2 knows he's still strapped to the metal table, wiggling slightly, he feels he's positioned on his stomach, something attached to his back.

"Spider-2.  You are awake."  The lady wasn't questioning, demanding he give his attention to her. He peeled open his eyelids, glossy eyes dragging over to her.

"Oh, how wonderful.  S-2, could you wiggle the.. things on your back? Then you can go meet your new friends, and THEN we can assess you."  Peter gave a pained nod, slowly flexing something on his back. It felt  weird, and hurt a little bit. Peter tried to look at them, but his head was grabbed.

"What a good boy, S-2."  Mrs. Woffing, as he could now see on her name tag, cupped his gaunt cheeks with her ever cold hands, smiling brightly for him.

They've learned that he only wanted kindness, giving it to him when he was good.

"Here, its a present."  She shoved a hard candy into his mouth, unbuckling his restraints, scooping him up and wrapping her arms around him. Though done so rougher than needed, it brought happy tears to his eyes. He hugged back, resting his head on her shoulder as she carried him to his cell.

"Now S-2, behave for your guests." She ruffled his brown hair, again, much harder than needed, but waited outside his cell untill a few guards came to open the door for them. They unlocked the heavy door, pointing their guns at the (supposedly) sleeping figures. She walked in, glaring at his new friends before dropping him onto the slab he slept on.

"Sleep well. I'll see you in.. around 3 days."  She stared at his sweat slicked body, then at the tendrils on his back. She knew he absolutely wouldn't feel good untill then.
