Relationship background: You and Bakugo know each other well. Being best friends in your childhood, feelings developed and neither of you were able to ignore them, nor address them, especially when you each took drastically different paths in the grand scheme of things. Back after middle school you and your family went missing when the LOV captured them to use as motivation to keep you working for them. Ever since he found out, you and Bakugo have become secret lovers as he tries to help you through your situation till you can escape this living nightmare.

Bakugo choked out a hoarse cough through a wet rag he held to his mouth. He held it there to filter the smoke as he ran through the halls of the burning building.

He had been called on a rescue mission to help evacuate a crumbling apartment complex that had been set ablaze with blue flames. The complex was home to a pro hero who had recently gained valuable info on the League, making the horrible turn of events undoubtedly the work of the mentioned group of villains.

The teen hero had sacrificed his original exit from the building rescuing a small group of kids, meaning he had to find another suitable way out as he continued his search and rescue.

"I'm fine!! I'll find another way out!!!" Y/N called to the other side of the collapsed, charred wood and metal that separated her from Dabi, Shigaraki and Twice, her companions on the mission. "Be safe! Jump in the flames!!" Twice's voice called before Shigiraki piped in, "For your sake you had better meet back up with us; get caught or run to the heroes and your precious little parents won't see the light of day." He cautioned, clearly agitated that Y/N had been separated from them without trusted supervision.

Biting her lip, the young villainess turned on her heel toward the blazing building. The fire escape and main entrance were off limits being where heroes were most likely located, so she did her best to avoid both areas.

The stairs were on the other side of the burning barrier, so to meet back up with her group, the teen opted to jump down a floor where she'd be able to access the stairs from. With no other plan, and a slightly loopy mindset from overusing her quirk, Y/N began stomping on a weak patch of floorboards, trying to get them to fall through.

Sooner than she expected, the ground gave way and both she and the wooden planks dropped not one, but three levels, and onto something else below that let out a rather high pitched squawking sound. "THE HECK!?" A familiar male voice called out as she crashed atop it. Whatever she had dropped onto soon retaliated, shoving her off. "Wait what!?" The voice sounded once again.

Before Y/N could process what had just happened, or the sharp pain in her left foot, two hands gripped the sides of her face tenderly, shocking her out of her daze. It was then that she was finally able to piece together that she had fallen three stories and landed on Bakugou, and that he now had her face in his hands as he was rapidly scolding her. "What the heck do you think you're doing!?! You trying to get yourself killed, idiot!? What are you even doing here, huh?! If you're hurt, so help me-!!!!" He peppered her with questions as he checked her up and down for injuries. "I-" "Oi!! What's going on!?" The frantic hero-in-training shook her gently by the shoulders to finish bringing her to reality.
