The young man pranced down the streets, his hat reminiscent of one for a cowboy. He pulled the light brown hat further down his head. His dirty blond hair slid into his face, as he pushed ot away from his face, his brown boots clicking and clacking against the cement of the sidewalk. His brown eyes glanced at an antique shop, before slowly pulling his glance away. The young man continued onwards, delicately looking at every shop.
The clicking came to a stop, at a familiar coffee shop. He walked in, adjusting his hat once more. He walked up to the register, a small grin on his face. The cashier looked up, her hair covering her eyes, as she asked him what he wanted.
"A small iced coffee. Put it under 'Adventurer', would you?" He confidently replied, a smirk growing on his face. She nodded, blowing a piece of hair away from her mouth."That'll be $4.99" She stated, as the man handed her the cash. He waited patiently, as she counted it up. She nodded, and he nodded back, as if it was a silent agreement. He pulled away from the register, sitting down at a two person table, just by the window. He didn't expect any company, given how empty the shop was.
He stared out the window, waiting for the coffee to be finished. He took off his hat, setting it on the table. As he waited, he pondered what he would do on his next adventure. The young man huffed quietly, glancing back towards the inside. It was a small coffee shop, themed with dark wood. The tables were very delicate, and most likely rather expensive. He ran his hand along the dark wood, sighing. He shot up when a high voice called out "Herb?", but slumped back down as he realized that the customer wasn't him. He rested his chin on his hand, his brown eyes delicately running along the entire cafe.
"Adventurer?" Someone called out, and he shot up. He glanced over at the part of the counter for finished drinks, as he saw the source of the voice. Adventurer stood up, his hands wiping off his dark jeans. He walked over, his eyes glancing down towards the floor. He accepted the drink, smirking. He sat back down at his seat by the window, slowly sipping on the coffee. He was so immersed in the scenery outside, that he didn't notice someone standing over him.
"Hello?" The person said, once more. The young man glanced over, confused. The man standing in front of him had light green hair, resembling leaves in spring. He wore a green sweater that matched his hair, with little flowers sewn into the design. The man gave him a soft smile. "Mind if I sit by you...?" The green haired man asked, waiting for the other's response. Adventurer raised an eyebrow, his expression showing his confusion. Despite this, he nodded, letting the man know that it was fine.
The other man sat down, delicately pulling the chair out, before sitting down. He smiled, in a friendly manner. Despite this, Adventurer still felt as if it was better to be safe, and sat straight up. He stared at the other, his brown eyes examining the other. The man had a smaller form than Adventurer's own, but still had some muscle to him. His green hair looked well kept, and his clothes were clean. Adventurer glanced down at his own outfit. Dark, dark blue jeans, with a classic plaid long-sleeved shirt. He wore a tan vest, to help contrast the reddish plaid of his shirt. His pants were slightly mud splattered, and his face wore a few scars from various...less than pleasant adventures. He glanced up, to find the other man looking at him.
Adventurer stayed quiet, glancing away. This was...rather embarrassing for the both of them. He sipped on his coffee once more, before the other held out his hand. Adventurer hesitated, sipping his coffee again.
"O-Oh! I must've not told you." The other man said quietly, his eyes filled with a sort of anxiety. "I'm Herb! And you are?" He asked, his hand still held out. Adventurer slowly took Herb's hand into his own, shaking it.
"I'm Adventurer." He replied, a small smile on his own face. He pulled his hand back, sipping his own coffee. He glanced back at Herb, smirking. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Herb."
