As Mina works on her report, she can't help but secretly glance at someone. Someone she adores. A small smile never left her lips as she watches her.
Though it pains her that she never looked at her way because all of her attention is set on the small girl, dancing. The gummy smile with her two front teeth displaying wasn't because of her but, because of how adorable the performer in front of her dances.
When Chaeyoung, her best friend, ended the dance, she took that chance to look at the person beside the young one before focusing her sight on the tired woman. "You did great, Chaeng!" she exclaimed, then glanced for a second at the person again. She then went back to working on her laptop.
Along with the laughs of the two is her heart breaking and aching. She tried to distract herself with where she was focused in the first place. Atleast, it might lessen the pain.
She can see with her peripheral vision that the younger of the two is leaning at the shoulder of the other. She regrets lifting her head because at that moment, she saw how the one she loves stares at Chaeyoung and how sweet the kiss she gave on her forehead looked like. She wiped her tear the second she felt it on her cheek.
Do I even still have a chance with you, Nayeon unnie?
