Love at First Fright

Chapter 2

The journey there was quite long and I kept getting border by the second. I could feel myself slipping out of consciousness and I was almost asleep when the car stopped bringing me back to reality. I sat up in my seat to see that we'd arrived at a boarding school. People were staring as Zach got out of the car and came over to my side and opened the door for me, offering his hand.

People were gawking as I took Zach's hand and gracefully exited the car. After I was out I realised Angel hadn't waited, I sighed and rolled my eyes at her. She sent me a thought that said 'What?!'. I just sighed and began walking to the entrance of the school, Angel in tow.

Oh yeah! I forgot to say I'm a vampire and Angel's a pixie and we have this supernatural twin mind connection thingy.

As we walked up to the school boys started offering to carry our bags. And if glares could kill then we would be well and truly dead with the amount of girls glaring at us.

However one girl came up to us and said "Hi I'm Lucinda but u can call me Luce," and smiled, she had quite long pitch black hair and very light almost blue eyes. She walked with us to the principals office and left at the door saying she'd talk to us later.

Before I'd even finished knocking on the door we heard a "Come in," from behind the door. As I stepped in the room (closely followed by Angel) I noticed that the whole room was red even the principal was wearing red. "Ah so you two must be the new students," she paused and looked down at the paperwork in front of her, "Angelina and Alexandra Rose yes?". I nodded "Yes Ma'am," she chuckled a bit.

"No need for ma'am Alexandra? It's just Mrs. Mackintosh," she looked up and smiled at us. "Welcome to Rose Academy girls," my jaw dropped. "R-Rose academy?" I asked "Yes Alexandra didn't you know you were being sent to your fathers boarding school I mean it is named after him?". I just nodded and Mrs Mackintosh sent us to collect our timetables.

I looked down at my timetable and fist pumped "Yes! I have singing and acting as my extra subjects!" I said overjoyed. I love singing and acting!

"Cool I got art and cooking!" Angel replied. After that we compared timetables and realised we had most classes together. We went in search of our first class which was Potions class. It wasn't hard to find cause our dad had once shown us the blueprints of a school he was going to build and well that's what he has done!

When we walked in the teacher was already there. "Ah it seems we have two new students today would you like to say your names and a little about yourselves," she said gesturing to the front of the room. 'You go first!' Angel thought 'fine,' I thought back. I walked up to the front of the room.

"Hi my name is Alexandra Rose I'm sixteen years old, my favourite colour is midnight blue and this school was built by and named after my father Antonio Rose oh and can everyone please call me Alex," I said. "FOLLOW THAT!" I sent Angel and stepped to the side.

Angel reluctantly stepped up to the front. "Hi I'm Angelina Rose I'm sixteen years old, my favourite colour is red and Alex is my twin sister and you can call me Angel for short" she said quietly. "Well thank you Alex and Angel, I'm Miss Lawrence, now is there anyone who would like to volunteer to sit next to Alex or Angel?".

Pretty much everyone's hands shot up but two were faster and Miss Lawrence said "Ah girls it seems you have two overly eager admirers, Nightmare and Lucas are you sure?" Miss Lawrence asked the two boys who had been faster than the others. "Yes miss," they said. "Okay well ...... Nightmare who would you like to sit next to?" Miss Lawrence asked the one with black hair.
