blood (epistaxis/bloody nose)A H/C-haired woman stood in front of the asylum, innocent doe eyes peering up at the building. It looked unsettling, terrifying. Usually, she'd avoid places that appeared haunted, but this was the only place willing to hire her. It was either this or nothing.
"L/N Y/N, I presume?" A tall, lanky man walked out of the shadows. His face was covered with a mask, fogging up the circular glasses that rested on the bridge of his nose.
"Oh... Um, yes." Her lips curved into a small and polite smile as she slowly took a step back, cautious of the male. He chuckled once he noticed.
"There's no need to be afraid, darling," He said that pet name in such an attractive way that it almost made Y/N melt. She thickly gulped, fingers shaking slightly.
"I will warn you that some of the patients here aren't friendly. But, I'm sure you can handle it," Underneath his mask, the man grinned, "After all, you graduated at the top of your class, isn't that right?" Y/N swiftly nodded.
"You can call me Hanma, by the way. Shuji works fine too." He pulled down his mask, exposing the rest of his face and rendering Y/N speechless. The apples of her cheeks blossomed bright red as she gazed upon his charming face.
Hanma Shuji was, to put it briefly, absolutely breathtaking. His eyes were a rich golden colour, and his hair perfectly framed his charming face.
"There's not much in here apart from patients, but we do have a coffee break room. The boss, Kisaki, is in there most of the time since he's too lazy to deal with people." Hanma deeply chuckled, sending Y/N into another frenzy.
"The boss has requested to be alone right now, so you can't meet him. However, whenever he's free, I'll take you there. He's a nice guy once you get past his thousands of layers." Hanma grinned, "Anyway, after showing you around, I was given instructions to take you to your first patient."
The smell of metal suddenly overwhelmed Y/N's senses. She panicked, placing a hand over her nose to stop the red liquid from dripping.
"Wonderful." Her voice came out slightly muffled, but Hanma didn't question it. He didn't even look her way.
Bloody noses were a common occurrence with Y/N. They happened whenever she got stressed, which wasn't very convenient. She made sure to pack tissues every day, but it seems she had forgotten her packet this time. How annoying.
"There's not much to see." Hanma uttered, shoving his hands into his pockets, "But, there are bathrooms in every hallway. Just keep walking until you reach the end. The cafeteria is just over there, the same as the break room. If you go into the elevator and press the top floor button, it'll take you to my office. Any questions?"
