Emma's POV

As I looked through my contact in my phone I really put some thought into if I really want to move to Chicago or not. I mean I'll be staying with my sister so I won't be alone, I glanced up at the time in digital on my phone "5:30 am" my flight was at 7 so I have some time. I haven't seen my parents in years because they kicked me out when they found out I was a lesbian. I'm not a lesbian though I'm straight. They just didn't understand me at the time it was a phase anyway. I touched up my makeup a bit and did my hair then picked out an outfit that fit the occasion. I mean there really is no occasion all I'm doing is flying on a plane to Chicago, and its only a 3 hour flight.

I decided to text my sister and say that I'm on my way.

Emma: I'm on my way, be there soon big sis x

She didn't answer she must be sleeping still, Its only 6:28 so its still early and my big sister was never really a morning person. I made sure I had all of my bags packed then checked to reassure myself that I had everything I needed. I heard my phone buzz, it was my sister so I stopped for a minute to look I didn't have time to chat because the flight was at 7 AM and its already 6:36 AM and by my calculations the airport is 17 minutes away, I'll have to stop and get a few things like gas for the car, an energy drink and I don't have time for breakfast I'm too busy today.

I arrived at the airport and looked up what the weather is going to be in Chicago today, I should've checked earlier but I didn't I was too caught up with my looks and everything else. As I was boarding the plane I felt a rush of a feeling between nerves and hesitance. I brushed it off and just thought it was maybe me having second thoughts but its too late, I already bought a ticket and theres no going back. I checked my extra bags and looked out the window, its gonna be a long day. I rested my head on the window next to me and whispered "goodbye New York" quietly. I didn't get much sleep last night so I decided to go to sleep around an hour in after the flight took off. I immediately woke up to the feeling of pressure, and I panicked as I heard a voice come over the radio "Nothing to worry about ladies and gents just a bit of turbulence" It looked dark out what the hell is going on.

I checked the time on my watch, it said 9:45 AM but since its Chicago they have a different time zone as New York. So it would be 12 PM that still doesn't explain why the plane is going faster then it should be and what the hell is going on at all. I looked out the window, we were in Chicago already and I realized. The plane was faced down..we were about to crash into the water. As I looked back over at the other people on the plane I could see the flight attendants helping people with oxygen and prepared for water landing. I looked back out the window and blinked a few times because I thought I was hallucinating at first. My eyes widened in shock, on one of the wings of the plane there was a woman just standing there and I tapped on the window trying to get her attention but all she did was smile and wink at me. After I saw her I knew something bad would happen if she crashed in that position, I also found myself wondering how she had the grip to stay on without being whisked away by the wind.

I yelled at the flight attendant standing the closest to me and she noticed the girl on the wing of the plane, she called for one of the pilots to come see what was going on and he didn't hesitate. I saw the woman on the wing of the plane get up from her sitting position as she looked over at us and placed her hands in a specific position. We all just stood there in shock as what seemed to be blue lights reflecting or something off of both of her hands and whatever she was doing she was doing something towards the water. "Everybody follow me" The male pilot said, I hesitated but I went with him and the lady. I looked back at the window and she was gone. I tried not to panic but that failed, my heart was racing and I saw a lady open up the emergency exit door as she gave us all parachutes before and I ended up being the last one out. The woman was nowhere to be found but I was more shocked and confused when I saw that underneath the plane was a giant platform of...Ice? I don't think it was very thin either because it was holding the whole plane.

There were people in the water, children, adults...even an infant and what seemed to be a few toddlers. All of them were either trying to survive or crying and shaking. I didn't land very fast and neither did the plane but I managed to land on part of the ice. I saw one of the engines break off and fall into the water so I tried to stay away from that, and when it fell it was on fire and it fell right near one of the people that was on the flight. some people went over to help her but it was two late. She had stopped breathing and half of her body was either smashed by the jet or set on fire by it. People were scared and then there was me. I tried to help people but the platform of ice was a giant platform and people would have to use a latter to climb up. Surprisingly I was the only one on the ice block but I wanted to examine the plane and make sure there were no other people still left on the plane.
