"Rest in peace to everyone we have lost this year. 2021 really has done a number."-SadxNiqqa

He hasn't left his side.

No one could convince him to.

No one could convince him to eat a proper meal either.

Jordan Carter was reliving his trauma.

It seemed he always was.

Every time he got close to anyone, they left him.

Either through death or circumstances.

His mother.

His first love.

Left him.

She held on for him for so long, but Jordan had to let her go.

She was so sick and in so much pain.

It would of been selfish to continue to hold on.

He's lost plenty of friends and family to the streets.

Lost people he grew to love due to outgrowing them.

But this..

This man right here..

He just couldn't let go of.

Symere Woods was his everything.

He loved him so much.

Loved him so much that it was possibly unhealthy.

He didn't care.

He couldn't let him go.

Call him selfish.

He just couldn't and wouldn't.

Jordan sighed as he held Symere's hand in his. It's been a couple of days since the incident, and Symere hasn't opened his eyes.

Everyone was waiting for him to wake up. He had gone through surgery to stop the bleeding and remove the bullets.

He lost pints of blood. So much blood the doctors were sure he was going to die.

Luckily Tyler was a blood match. He gave him as much blood as they needed without second thought.

He chuckled. Tyler was anemic and shouldn't of been giving blood at all. However, he didn't tell the doctors that.

Tyler ended up passing out. He laughed a little at that. Jordan actually started crying again when Tyler passed out. He thought he was dying as well.

Jordan was so hysterical they had to call in a psychiatrist from the psych floor to calmly talk to him.

It surprised his friends, and even his cousins. Jordan often didn't show much emotion. That's just how he was.
