31 | She's Back

Anastasia's POV:

"What do you mean she's back!" I was gonna ripe my head off. She was back. But the judge said that she would be there for at least 5 years. I fucking know if it would have been 5 years!

"Relax." Bruce rubbed my shoulders once I took a seat in front of Kol and Claudia.

"It doesn't make any sense!"

"Apparently Nate knew some guy in the force and was able to get her out." I felt like I wanted to cry. My baby had finally been ok. He wasn't hurt anymore, and he was definitely not afraid anymore.

"I fucking hate her, I fucking hate Issac for ever letting that bitch lay a hand on Elijah." I felt like I was gonna try and find her so I could kill her if Bruce's hands weren't on my shoulder.

"Apparently she's been out for a couple days and she hasn't even shown up here or tried anything. So maybe she doesn't plan on it." Claudia said. I know a part of her was afraid that now that Maya was out, Nate would tried to come back and hurt her again.

"I don't care if she doesn't try anything. She hurt a fucking 5 year old. That's enough to be put behind bars for longer than 5 years. She already had a light punishment to begin with. I want to know who the fuck let her out."

"You need to calm down." Bruce said, taking a seat next to me putting a safe arm around my shoulder.

"I can't let her hurt him anymore. He's finally happy again Bruce. I already know he's gonna freak when he finds out."

"I get that. But you need to calm for now. For him at least. I'll try figuring something out." He Bruce got up and left the living room and went into his office.

I held my head in my hands and I felt a tiny hand grab mine.

"What's wrong Mama?" I heard Elijah tiny voice speak from through my hands.

I looked up seeing him holding Ana in his arms.

"Here." He puts Ana on my lap and starts to pet her.

"She makes me feel better." He smiled sitting up on the couch.

Fuck this little boy was so perfect.

"Thank you so much." I pulled Elijah into the biggest hug in the whole world. This little boy was my everything, and like hell I was ever gonna let a nasty bitch lay a hand on him.

You have to be a fucking monster to ever hurt someone so precious.

"I love you so much." I kissed the side of his head and he kissed my cheek.

"I love you Mama." I gave him Ana and he took her and ran off with her.

"God that kid's perfect." Kol said with a safe arm around Claudia's waist.

I sighed leaning back waiting for Bruce to come back from doing whatever it was he was doing before.

Bruce's POV:

"What the fuck do you mean he already quit." Turns out, the guy who helped Nate help Maya escape already quit because he knew he'd be in shit.

"Yeah, he resigned a couple hours ago." The guy I was on the phone with, was someone I knew from inside the force. He worked with the paper work and ever so often he would go out and arrest people too.

He was also the one who shown up to arrest Maya in the first place. He let Anastasia go only because he knew he could trust me. He knew I was telling the truth about what Maya did and only charged Anastasia with a small sum, which I quickly paid off.
