Part 8 🌼

Last night's incident was still fresh on Mahnoor's mind, how Fahad left his own sister's birthday party to help her. 

This action touched her heart. After her father's death her relatives didn't help them much, now a stranger who doesn't ever know her personally helped and cared for her. It was a new feeling for her. 

When she was lost in her thoughts her mother called her.

 "Kya hua amma aap ko kuch chahiye" Her mother signaled her to come closer.

 She went near her mother "kya hua ammi, aapko koi takleef ho rahi hain? Doctor ko bulao" She was about to call the doctor when her mother stopped her.

 "Kuch bhi nahi hua hain, kuch nahi chahiye mujhe, ab main apni beti ko bula bhi nahi sakti" Mahi smiled at her mother's words 

"aap jab chahe mujhe bula sakti hain, aapko pata hain main kitna ghabra gayi thi jab mujhe Asad ne bataya ki aap behosh ho gayi hain" Mahnoor held her mother's hand.

 Her mother kissed her palms and said "Kitni pareshan ho jati hain meri bacchi, kuch nahi hoga mujhe jab tak tumhari shaadi na dekhlu kahin nahi jaane wali main" Mahnoor stopped her mother 

"please amma aisi baatein na kiya karein" her mother smiled at her childishness 

"waise Fahad toh bohot hi accha ladka hain, kitni madad ki hain usne humari" Mahi's mind again went to Fahad. 

Nowadays whenever she hears his name her heart skips a beat. She was new to these feelings. Mahi was again lost, but her mother's voice brought back to her reality 

'kahan kho gayi" Mahi shook her head "Kahin bhi nahin, thik keh rahi hain bohot acche insaan hain woh" Mahi was on leave.

 Fahad told her to take care of her mother. That is why she was with her mother in the hospital.

On the other hand Fahad joined his family for breakfast. His mother asked "beta kal raat ko tum kahan gayeb ho gaye the, kitna dhoonda tumhe, cake cutting ke waqt ke tum nahi the, raat ko der se laute" Mehreen also joined 

"Haan bhai main bhi aapko mere friends se milwana chahti thi par aap mujhe milei nahi" Fahad listened to their complaints then narrated the entire incident that happened last night how he ahd to take Mahnoor to the hospital.

 Khushboo Baig was the first person to react "Ya Allah ab kaisi uski amma ki tabiyat" 

"Ab thik hain shayad kuch din rehna par jaye" His mother nodded her head. 

"Waise bohot hi pyari bacchi hain, kal usne sab kuch sambhal liya tha" Mehreen also agreed 

"Haan ammi aap thik keh rahi hain Mahi aapi ne sara event acche se sambhal liya" Fahad didn't know why but he was feeling extremely happy to know that his family like Mahi.

Fahad reached his office, he looked at Mahi's cabin which was empty. He really wanted her to be there.

 He knew that she was with her mother. But ever since he has realized his feelings, his love towards her, he always wanted her to be in front of his eyes (I think that's a bit creepy). 

He was thinking about Mahi when Fariha entered his cabin "sir Aapki coffee" Fahad looked at her confused "woh Mahnoor ki call aayi thi usne kahan ki aapko aapki coffee aur schedule dein doon" Fahad smiled at her words, She was away but she made sure to do her work and he was feeling proud of her, that she was sincere towards his work.

 Fahad thanked Fariha and she left. The entire day went by Fahad working in his office and attending Meetings.

At night he reached his house late. He went to his room to freshen up. The entire day he thought about Mahnoor, so he decided to call her but he was a bit hesitant because it was late and it would look inappropriate to call his employee so late at night without any work.

 At last Fahad shook away those thoughts and dialed her number. As the phone was ringing his heart was beating rapidly. He was about to cut the call and call again in morning which would be an appropriate time, he heard a hello, as soon he heard her voice he felt relaxed, his heart felt he was home. 

mahi again said "hello, Sir are you there" Fahad quickly answered "yes..yes Miss Mahnoor I am here" Mahi again asked 

"Koi kaam tha aapko, itni raat ko call kiya aapne" Fahad was thinking what to tell her, why did he call her, he couldn't tell her that he wanted to hear her voice. 

What will she think so he made an excuse "woh maine call kiya tha aapki ammi ki tabiyat puchne ke liye, Kaisi hain aab woh" Mahi thought he was facing difficulties that's why he wanted to know that 

"Doctor ne kahan hain ki kal hum amma ko ghar le ja sakte hain, aap chinta mat karein main parso se hi office join kar lungi, waise maine aaj fariha ko kahan tha aapko aapki coffee aur schedule de dein" Mahi blabbering at this point. 

"Mahnoor..Mahnoor ruk jaiye maine aapse yeh nahi pucha ki aap kabse office ayengi, Aap apni amma ka khayal rakhein" Mahnoor's heart again melted at his care 

"Shukriya" she thanked him.

 There was a silence between them and it was not an awkward silence it was a comfortable silence. Breaking the silence Fahad asked her 

"Aap kaisi hain" Mahi was bit confused and overwhelmed at the same time, she was feelings those feelings which she was not supposed to feel.

 She replied meekly "Theek hoon" she didn't know what to say so asked 

"Aap kaise hain" Fahad laughed a little "main bhi theek hoon" then again it was a silence between them. "Chalein bohot raat ho gayi, main rakhta hoon aap so jaiye, good night" 

Mahi also wished him good night she was about to cut the call when Fahad again said "aur suniye" 

Mahi replied "Ji" "Apna khayal rakhiyen ga" then he cut the call. 

Fahad thought about talking to his mother about Mahi but he was afraid that what if Mahi didn't like him and rejected his love that's why he decided that he will tell Mahi first about his feelings and with these thoughts he went to his bed.
