Part 17 🌼

Mahi was really happy today because she was going for a ring shopping with her In laws. They also invited her mother but she refused as she was not feeling well. Mahi woke up in the morning and got ready in beautiful olive green joda She wore little jhumkas with them and she was looking reallu pretty. After she was done getting ready she went downstairs to check on her mother. 

First she went to her mother's room, but she didn't find her. then she went to the kitchen to find her mother cooking. "amma aap yahan kyun aayi main karleti na sab kuch waise bhi aapki tabiyat kharab hain chalein aap apne kamre jaake aaram kare" she tried to move her mother from the stove. but her stopped her "kuch bhi nahi hua hain mujhe bilkul thik hoon bas thodi thakan hain woh bhi chali jayegi, aur ab toh tu aapne ghar chali jayegi phir tujhe apni nayi family ko time dena hain, har waqt thodi na humare piche bhagti rahegi" mahi didn't even realize there were tears in her eyes. she hugged her mother "kya amma meri abhi shaadi tak nahi hui aur aapne abhi se mujhe paraya kar diya" her mother chuckled listening to her, there were tears in her eyes she wiped Mahi's tears and kissed her forehead "aare pagli esa kabhi ho sakta hain, tu toh mera dil ka tukda hain, par beta ab tumhari shaadi hone wali hain, ab tumhe wahan ke logon ka bhi khayal rakhna parega, Fahad bohot accha ladka hain par beta uski bhi toh khawish hogi kuch ke uski honewali biwi bhi uske family ko apni family jaise pyar kare aur kyaal karein"  Mahi didn't say anything just nodded her head. a sudden knock on the door  broke their mother-daughter moment "amma aapi fahad bhai aaye hain, apka intezar kar rahe hain" Mahi was confused because she was not expecting Fahad. they both went to the living room where Fahad was sitting. he was looking really handsome in a button down shirt and black pants sleeves rolled up 

As soon as Fahad saw Mahi and her mother he got up, and said Salam. "aare beta tum aaye ho, betho main tumhare liye chai lati hoon"  she was about to go to the kitchen but Fahad stopped her. "nahi aunty aaj nahi aaj thodi jaldi phir kisi din" he looked at Mahi "chalein"  mahi nodded then they both went to the car. 

The ride was silent, Fahad took her hands and held them, he was silent for a while then asked "aap ro rahi thi" mahi looked at him suprised and she shook her head no. again he sopke "aap janti hain humari shaadi ke baad jitni meri family aapki hogi utni hi aapki family meri hogi, aap jabhi chahe unse mil sakti hain, main usse aapko kabhi bhi nahi rokunga, kyunki aapki family aapke liye kitni important hain main yeh baat aache se samajhta hoon" he gave her hand  little squeez. Mahi's eyes were watery, she thanked Allah for bringing this man into her life, who understood her situations so well and supported her. (I want him in my lifeeeeee, i want to marry him 😭😭😭😭) They reached the mall. there they met Mehreen. who tightly "bhabiiii kaisi hain aap" Mahi smiled at her childishness she hugged her back "main bilkul theek hoon, tum kaisi hon aur aunt nahi aayi" she asked her because she was supposed to come with them that's why shw was confused when Fahad picked her up. "nahi woh unhe last moment kuch kaam aagaya tha isi liye main aur bhai aaye hain"  Fahad who was standing behind them spoke 'ab aagar aap dono ki baatein ho gayi hain toh chailein andaar"  they went to different shops but they didn't like any rings at last they went in a shop where saw a beautiful emarald ring

 which both of them liked and Mehreen also gave her approval. they also bought  a simple band ring for Fahad. They were done with shopping for food when Fahad called when she looked back she was happy, surprised and emotional. there was Fahad on his knees with the a ring in his hands. everyone was looking at them she went to him and Fahad started speaking "Mahi main iss duniya kya sabse ameer insaan toh nahi hoon magar main iss duniya ka sabse khushkismat aur khush insaan hoon kyuki meri zindagi aap aayi hain, main aapse kitni mohabbat karta hoon shayad main aapko kabhi lafzon na bayan kar pao par main aapse wadan karta hoon ke aapke akhon mein kabhi aansoo nahi aane dunga so miss Mahnoor Tahir will you marry me and be my forever " Fahad ended his speech and Mahi was in tears and everyone aroung them was cheering she couldn't get any words out of her mouths she nodded her head yes and everyone was clapping for them. Fahad slid the ring on her finger and kissed her forehead and Mahi was so overwhelmed she hugged him tightly and that way they promised to be eacth others forever.
