James; "I don't really think she's the right girl for you, James." His mum tells him long after you've left their Sunday dinner. James closes the fridge and looks over at his mum. "What was that?" She shrugs, placing the last dish in the cabinet. "She's just... I don't think she's good enough for you." James sighs, rolling his eyes. "You never think anyone's good enough for me, mum. But quite frankly, I don't think I'm good enough for her." "James," She calls softly. "No," He shakes his head. "I'm going to sleep. Goodnight."
Beau; "I saw those shiny new earrings y/n was wearing," Gina tells Beau as she finishes folding clothes. "I know, they're cute. I bought them for her," He smiles. "Of course you did," She mumbles, a hint of annoyance in her voice. Beau looks up, slightly taken back. "What?" She shrugs, throwing another shirt on the couch. "You're always buying her these expensive gifts. She's using for your money, obviously," Beau gasps, "That's not true. I'll have you know that when I showed her those earrings she almost made me return them. I can't believe you'd say that about her."
Luke; "You two are moving too fast," Gina tells Luke as she watches him smile down at his phone. Luke raises his eyebrow, "Hmm?" She shrugs lightly, taking a seat next to him, "I heard rumors about an engagement. And you two are moving in together. I just want to make sure she's not rushing you into committing to something you're not ready to." Luke clears his throat, "Y/n isn't rushing me into anything, first of all. It was my call to move in together. And you'll be the first person I tell if plan on proposing. Trust me mum."
Daniel; "Her dress was on the short side, wasn't it?" His mum asks, turning to look at Daniel's dad. Daniel sighs, looking up from his phone. There she goes again talking about you like he wasn't in the room. "Jesus Christ, it was knee length!" Daniel defends you. "I don't like her, Daniel." She shrugs, wiping her hands on her apron. "She's not the right girl for you. And she comes off as, well a little whorish to say the least." "There is absolutely nothing wrong with her, okay? I love her. And I need you to accept that."
Jai; "She's lovely," Gina mumbles, looking away from Jai as he continued to talk about you. Jai raises his eyebrow, "That sounded a little sarcastic," Jai shot back, glancing over at her. "I just don't really like her. She seems kind of bossy," Gina tells him as she continues to flick through the channels. "Maybe you should consider dating someone else for a while." Jai looks taken back, his eyes wide. "Why would I consider dating someone else?" He asks. Gina opens her mouth to speak but Jai quickly cuts her off. "Y/n is perfect. Just take some time to warm up to her."
