He didn't like you from the start

James -
"So you didn't like her?" Jai asked. I stood in the kitchen. I came in from the garden and they hadn't realised.
"Who? Y/N?" James asked. I took a deep breath in shock. I walked close to the living room wanting to hear more clearly.
"Yes Y/N! Who else would I be talking about?" Jai said.
"I didn't like her in that way. I mean I just didn't find her attractive." James said.
My heart broke slightly. Was he lying when he told me how beautiful I was?
"Well when did you begin to find her attractive?" Jai asked.
James didn't respond for a while.
"You do find her attractive, don't you?"
"Of course I do. I wouldn't be going out with her if I didn't find her attractive. I don't remember the day that I thought she was the most beautiful girl in the whole world. I just woke one day and she smiled at me and that was it."
I smiled and walked away back into the garden, having heard enough.

Beau-
I had begun to fall asleep on Beau's lap. I must have fallen asleep because when I woke up they were all talking and the TV was off. I kept my eyes shut wanting to hear what they were saying.
"She just annoyed the hell out of me" Beau said, his hand was resting on my back.
"But she's so cute just lying there asleep. How could she annoy you?" Luke said.
They were talking about me.
"I don't find her annoying anymore!" Beau protested. "She was just a bit in my face."
"She was trying to impress you Beau" Jai responded. "She's actually really shy Beau."
"I know that. She's my girlfriend. She stopped putting on this fake personality and then I fell in love with the real her."
I moved slightly.
"Babe? You awake?" Beau asked brushing a piece away from my eye.
I yawned and stretched my arms. "I fell asleep?"
"Yeah. You wanna go to bed?"
I nodded.

Jai-
"Jai can I ask you something?" I said as me and Jai lay in bed.
"Yeah sure babe. What is it?"
"Some fans messaged me and said that me and you shouldn't be together as you hated me in the beginning and probably still do. Is that still true?" I sat up and faced him leaning on my elbow.
"I don't hate you now" Jai said tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.
"So you did hate me?" I could feel tears building up in my eyes.
"I didn't really hate hate you. I just didn't really like you as a person. I didn't know you so that's why. But as soon as I got to know you, like the real you. I feel in love with your personality. You just came off a bit mean and judgmental."
I leaned forward and kissed him gently on the lips. He took my face in his hands kissed me harder.
"You promise you don't hate me now?" I said lying my head on his chest.
"Promise. There's no one in this world that I could hate less"
