This is a small fragment of my story, in which I came up with our birds their child (absolutely not a standard way to become parents, believe me). I'll post a few little excerpts, and if you like it, I'll try to write down in detail about their "family life."

The little girl was surrounded by them for almost a year. She was not afraid of them, but she did not really want to communicate with them.

She was told that she could do whatever she wanted, that she didn't need to be detached. She didn't seem to understand them.

They're just weird people to her.

Damian and Raven took turns trying to make contact, But the girl looked into their eyes only for the first couple of seconds and again returned to the floor.

They all stopped at Nanda Parbat, once owned by Damian's late grandfather. Raven didn't really like the atmosphere of this castle, but after access to the Pit was severely restricted, she felt better in this place.

So she made a new attempt to make contact with the girl.

"Oh honey., I won't beat you, everything is fine. " She tried to gently stroke her hair. The girl did not react. She felt that she had been touched, she had a sense of security from this women.

Raven continued to gently pat her on the head, she seemed to calm down.

Damian watched from the sidelines behind the door opening, the success that at least one of the two of them managed to make friends with her. Well, partially.

The girl sat on her new bed, very slowly starting to lean over to Raven's arm. Well, she was like a kitten, she likes to have her hair stroked.

Outside the window, a shot suddenly rang out, quickly and loudly. Raven didn't even have time to react as the little girl had just been in front of her, sitting on the bed, and now she was in the corner of the room, hugging herself by the knees and hiding her face in her hair.

Damian was usually not frightened by the sound of gunshots, but the girl's reaction to him, he was turned over.

He went to the window to check what had happened. It turned out that one of the newcomers simply mismanuficated weapons. Oh well, you can only imagine how it Damian off. Considering that the little girl was now sitting in the corner and almost trembling, despite the fact that the sound of the shot was a long time ago.

Raven quickly got back to her side and stroked her soft hair.

"all is well, all is well, mom is here."

The girl listened to her like that for a while and pulled her hands to Raven's neck. They didn't notice it at first, but she got scared so she cried a little. But she hasn't been crying for a long time. She hugged Raven's neck, and she in return held her by the back, stroked, tried to calm her down.

When the girl almost stopped shaking, Raven turned her head to Damian, switching to a telapathic connection.

"Did you also notice how scared she was.?"

"I do. What did they do to her there.."

"I'm not sure if I want to know.. "

She turned to her again, her expression more and more restless. She was so small in her hands.

Damian sat down next to her and stroked the girl's head. She shuddered at the fact that there was another person next to her. But she also did not notice any evil intentions from him and was not against contact.

She continued to hide her face in Raven's neck, hugged her, did not want to let go.

When Raven moved a little from her place, the girl thought that she no longer wanted to be hung on her and walked away from her, looking a little guilty.

"Hey hey, it's okay, come here", Raven again spread her arms for her, the girl again slowly approached and returned to her embrace.

"Do you still believe it?"

Yong turned to Damian, opening her eyes, "Hmm?"

"That she exists.." He dropped his soft gaze to the girl in her arms.

"Although I hold her in my arms, I can hardly believe it ..", she again looked at the girl in front of her, leaned closer to her, "But I want to protect her .."
