So rather Red velvet was Adopted or not, Licorice and Red velvet are brothers, though when they were both 10 years old Red velvet went missing and basically met DE (dark enchantress) Yall probably already know from that one story/scene in the tower of sweet chaos (I aint spoiling too much-) but once Licorice was driven to do black magic and joined the dark side it took a while for Red velvet and Licorice to get used to eachother again knowing how they were separated for so long. ))
