Chapter 5: Clouds and Wings

for a moment i blanked out for a long time... and i slowly woke up and felt something so soft below me..i wanted to rest on it forever... i slowly sat up as i looked around... "Val?...." i weakly said... but then i started crying... no this cant be it!! "Val?! VALARIE!!" i yelled i started to stand up then i turned around and covered my eyes from the blinding sun as i looked around... i relised... Todo... im not in New York anymore.... I saw so many things it confused me people with colorful wings flying through the sky?? and people with dove wings??? and i saw hippogriffs?! "hello!"

"AHH!" i screamed and jumped back as i fell off a cloud?! then this stranger saved me "Nope not doing that", he flew me back on the cloud, he had light grey feathers and grass green eyes and the horse part of his was grey and his hooves where white... a hippogriff.. i was so confused and scared.. "U-Uhm where am i? and who are you?" the hippogriff smiled "I'm Blaze'Rush the fastist flyer here!!" I was so confused as i looked around more "Uhm where is here?" Id asked as Blaze's smile disappeared as he sighed "There is no way to sugar coat this, you died man... at such a young age too, like fifteen that's so sad"

I was in shock as i yelled "No! i cant be dead!! Valarie! i cant just leave her! I HAD MY HOLE LIFE INFRONT OF MY FACE AND YOUR SAYING I DIED?!" Blaze looked like a scared cat as i yelled at him, and he said "Dude calm down there's nothing i can do!!"

"Well, i know one guy who can do something... the sky king" i said running off the edge as he yelled as i fell then he grabbed me as he sighed "Dude lets just talk this out somewhere else, and second off did i mention now that your dead you have wings" i was so confused yet so mad and he flew me through the sky and put me down infront of my house??? surrounded by different houses on fluffy while clouds as i saw many different people talking to one another, "What?" id plainly said as Blaze smiled as he put me down "You see your old hose is build here in  the sky kingdom! so its like the home away from home!!" id looked so confused as i turned around and he was right, i do have wings... white ones i don't know whether to freak out or to accept it.

"How about this man, you explore your house and just chill there for a sec while i grab someone" Blaze suggested as i looked at my arms...blood... and scars "Why am i still bleeding?" id asked being slightly freaked out as he sighed "Well you see, up here Scars represent how you died! but the thing is you cant feel pain, the only way to get rid of the scars is to forgive who hurt you, like who bullied you and so on and so forth, you get me? oh and another thing you can still technically eat food, don't know how that works but just go with it... its a weird kind of logic along with the fact that everything else works as normal except for uhm...." Blaze explained as i touched one of my scars as i was expecting it to hurt but nothing... he was right.. i cant feel that pain... "Fine go get this mysterious person, and do you mean the entire 'going to the bathroom' thing"  i said ,as Blaze awkwardly responded "Yes, now see you in a sec!" then he flew off, i opened my house door as i waked in... it really looked like my house! down to the smallest detail..

THe big T.V. in front of the sofa ,still there in the same place, the kitchen even the stairs where in the same place, i went upstairs and checked the bedrooms.. my parents room is still the same down to the weirdly colored sheets, i wnet into my room and i gasped to see how this is even possible! they got it down to the lamp beside my bed, when the lamp shade was stained in the same place.. i accidently spilled apple juice on it when i was five! heck everything is the same!

I sighed as i sat on the corner of my bed just wondering about what to do... i looked at my wings that i now have as i sighed.. "I guess that means i can fly??" i heard the doorbell ring... it was the same doorbell ring too!! Creepy... I went downstairs and went to the front door to open it as i saw Blaze smiling "Alright, so i've been thinking and stuff... your technically almost similar to someone else who died at a young age! Meet King Tut!!" I couldn't believe what he just said but sure enough it was King Tut, he had a flat head, some weird eye makeup... i just stared at him freaked out.

"Uhm...Hi?" i said cautiously as Tut just stared at me "I'm going to be honest here, Blaze just dragged me here to meet you, he said you died young too, and now here we are! i know this may seem weird as your thinking 'didn't Egyptians believe in other stuff not the Sky kingdom' and you would be right, but i was the only one to believe the sky kingdom was a thing, so yeah"

I Blinked cluelessly as i shook my head out of that trance as i said "Look id love to stay but i need to talk to the Sky king" as Blaze sighed "but you don't know how to fly yet!", id smiled "Do i?" as i jumped off the cloud as i heard Blaze come after me and Tut himself as i fell down i tried flapping my wings i don't know how this even works! but before i hit the very bottom the Sky Kingdom i finally caught myself and saw that i was actually flying!? i flew up and i was smiling so much "Dude how did you-" Blaze looked so surprised as i smirked "I have no idea come on!!!" i flew forward i did a mini twists in the air, is this what Freedom feel like?? it feels so great!!

But i had no time for this, i have to find the Sky Kings Palace, and its exactly how i pictured it.... it had walls surrounding the castle with pointed pillars on the walls with pillars scattered around the front, the sides, and back of the castle, the actual castle was pillars stacked on pillars to make a much bigger pointier castle with a giant point on top, it looked so cool, but this isn't the time for this either!! I'm distracting myself!!! i busted into the castle and saw the Sky King himself just sitting there on his throne, with his golden crown, he looked a bit old with a white beard and a long blue robe with gold linings on it, and he had white wings with a gold lining to it, i laned on the ground as he looked into his staff that he had in his hand as Blaze and Tut busted in after me as the Sky King looked down at me "Sky King! Please!! let me have a second chance! let me go back to Valarie!!!" as he sighed as i had tears in my eyes "I'm Sorry Skylar but once a person died i can't bring them back, what's done is done" i got mad yelling "This isn't fair!! i had a life Infront of me!! it was taken away!!" as Blaze and Tut looked confused and a bit confused as the Sky King got up from his throne and kneeled down to my level and looking into his eyes "Listen Skylar you sacrificed yourself so she could live, that's very heroic of you, and even though i can't get you back..... down to her again... you can be a part of something more, he reached out for something in his back pocket as i looked at my arms and saw how many scars i had on them as i sighed as he heled out a leather sash in his hands.

"You see, you can be helping me Skylar! this is very rare and i usually don't give this out to anyone this leather sash, there's different rankings of course, you can be a scout of the Sky Kingdom and help people get settled in here along with Blaze" i was shocked as i took it from his hands i was confused, do i really want to move on from Val and stay here? i dont know but those monster.... i guess they were mindless... so i guess i could forgive them from killing me, then suddenly i looked at my arms and the Scars disappeared like magic my eyes widened, as i couldn't believe it! but i put on the sash as Blaze smiled "Oh i got just the thing to complete 'the look'" he smirked as i did air quotes "'the look'? really Blaze?" is smiled as he put these weird steam punk googles "what's with these?" id asked as he smiled "Well let's just say me and Tut won a bet agents someone" as i laughed "I probably look stupid don't i?" as Tut Laughed as he slightly punched me "Yeah your fine!" as i relised i couldn't feel pain?? " i didn't even feel that punch-" as Blaze laughed "Welp that's the entire point! no more pain no more worries!!" as i smiled at the Sky King as he walked away to his throne, "We are going to have many adventures together i just know it!" smiled Blaze as i sighed "Yeah, probably".... i hope things get better from now but I wont forget you Val... you will always be in my heart... a better sweet ending like Romeo and Juliet....

Except Romeo only died and Juliet lived but besides that i wont forget her... not until i can finally be with her.... once again.
