Camp Cretaceous:Stranded

Stranded

This marks the beginning of Season 2 of Camp Cretaceous aka book 2, I was thinking about splitting the seasons apart or keeping it in one story. But I feel like this way it's more simple, on with the story.

Jungle

Living in a dinosaur infested jungle by yourselves as teenagers could not be a fun experience.

Your life would literally go from school, friends, and hobbies to screaming, running, hiding, and even more screaming.

However today seemed to be a peaceful day as all the dinosaurs were being docile and nothing crazy was going on. Hopefully the campers are al-

"Run! Run! Run!" The voice of Darius yells to the rest of group that was running behind him.

"Is the Parasaurolophus still there!" Brooklynn asked as she and Sammy were supporting Yasmina.

Geleel and Kenji look back to see said Parasaurolophus.

They were going to reply with yes until out of literally nowhere came Rexy the T Rex to attack the Parasaurolophus as Rexy lets out a thunderous roar.

"Not anymore!" Kenji yelled as he and Geleel sped up to escape Rexy.

The campers get out to a little opening as Geleel notices a huge tree trunk that fell.

"Over there! We can use it as cover!" Geleel yells as everyone runs to the fallen trunk.

Darius climbs under, so does Brooklynn, Geleel and Sammy help Yasmina get over as they both climb over along with Kenji.

They all whimper in fear as they hear Rexy finishing the Parasaurolophus off.

Brooklynn grabs onto Darius quivering as he holds her even though he was shaking too.

Yasmina hugs Geleel tightly in order to comfort her as they both try to stay still and quiet to ensure they would not alert Rexy to their whereabouts.

Sammy looks absolutely terrified as Kenji rubs her back to try and soothe her.

As they hear the final roar and crunch the Parasaurolophus was no longer heard at all they realize Rexy has done her deed and is now eating her lunch.

Darius and Geleel stand up to look over at Rexy dragging the dead Parasaurolophus.

They both look at eachother worried but when they realize Rexy was out of sight they sighed with relief.

"They're gone." Darius said to the others as everyone breathes of relief and slumps down.

As we get a chance to notice the kids we realize how roughed up they were.

They've become this way as result of being away from civilization this long.

All their clothes had various rips and specs of dirt.

Them not having any means to get hygiene either was evident in the fact that all of their hair now looked wild and frizzy.

"Why are there so many dinosaurs around!" Kenji yells in anger.

"Well it's either your boyish charm, or all the fences on the island are down." Brooklynn said semi-sarcastically.

"No offense when I- Ahh who am I kidding I totally mean to offend you, it's definitely the second option, Kenji? Boyish charm?" Geleel asked with a slight chuckle as Kenji looked at him annoyed.

"I don't even care, right now, I just want a sandwich." Yasmina says as she rubs her sprained ankle.

"We haven't eaten since we had those awful carob bars that Be-" Yasmina cuts herself off as everyone looks saddened at the thought of their fallen friend.
