Another week went by, and Jolyne went back home to her mother. She had to go to University and it was closer there. And it was me and Jotaro again.

Cough cough

I rolled on my side feeling the vibrations of the coughs.

Sniff.

I groaned as I tossed the other. It was very cold, so I pulled the covers to gather them around me. I squeezed my eyes tighter hoping to sleep more, and let the drowsiness take me away.

Cough cough COUGH

Jotaro called my name.

"Hm?"

"Are you okay?" He called. The bed creaked as he moved.

I felt a hand on my forehead. I mumbled swatting his hand away the best I could without opening my eyes, "I'm fine. Give me five more minutes."

A sigh came from Jotaro. "No, just stay in bed. You have a fever." His hand landed on my cheek. He caressed my cheek. "Get some more sleep instead. I'll be back." His hand left my face.

I reached out as the sudden warmth disappeared. "Jotaro." I called. "Jojo." I sniffed.

"Hm?" The hand was back on my face.

"Just stay a little longer." I gripped his hand. It was so much warmer.

"Alright." The bed creaked again as Jotaro laid beside me. He was laying with his side against me. He was so warm.

I scooted closer until I reached his side. I felt his arm wrap around my shoulders, pulling me in close. "Mm, you're warm."

A laugh reverberated from beside me. I could feel his calm breathing. The rhythm of his breathing lulled me to sleep.

When I came to, I had no idea how much time went by. The warmth was gone, but I could feel more covers over me. I finally opened my eyes. Sunlight filled the room. The dolphin plushie that Joraro got from Morioh was beside me. The clock said that it was ten in the morning.

I wanted Jotaro.

Cough cough cough "Jotaro," I called with my voice raspy. My throat hurt. I sat up.

The room spun around me.

I manifest my stand to find him. My stand left the bedroom to search the house.

First, I checked his office. He wasn't there. Then I checked the living room. He wasn't there. Finally, I checked the kitchen.

Jotaro was there. He was at the stove cooking. He had his hat on as usual.

My stand went over to him. As my stand, I wrapped my arms around his shoulders. I kissed him on the cheek.

Jotaro looked behind his shoulder to look at me stand smiling back. He said, "Hold on. I'm making you some soup, okay?"

My stand nodded. I had my stand hold on to him as he moved around to get a bowl and a spoon.

He poured the soup into the bowl. He made his way to our bedroom. He said, "Good morning, sweetheart." He came over to me. He sat down. "You look horrible."

I said hoarsely, "Whatever." I rolled my eyes which didn't help the fact that everything was still spinning around me. I laid my back against my pillows.

Jotaro foxed the pillows behind me, so I was sitting comfortably. Then he put a spoon of soup to my face and said, "Open wide."

I opened my mouth.
