Chapter 18

- Jeff's P.O.V. -

Running as fast as i could, i jump into the portal. Once i regain my balance, i look around for Julia, not seeing her anywhere.

"Hey guys, where's Julia?" I ask slightly nervous.

"She didn't make it.... she was taken by the police that were chasing us. I'm sorry Jeffery." Slender says sympathetically. "Come, we must head home so we can figure out the best way to get Julia out of there." He finishes regaining his compusour, heading back towards the mansion we can see faintly in the distance.

"I'm sorry Jeff... I didn't mean for this to happen..." EJ whispers sadly, 'looking' down at the dirt beneath our feet.

"It's fine EJ, it's not your fault your a cannibal. You can usually hold yourself really well. What happened?'

"Well.... i haven't been able to get any fresh kidneys for the past few days. I've been eating frozen kidneys..." He says shaking slightly.

"Oh, well that explains it. You're always on your man period when you have to eat stale kidney!" BEN butts in laughing at EJ's misery.

"I do not you tiny elf!" EJ yells back, tackling BEN in the process.

"CHILDREN!" Slender yells, pulling the two of them apart. "Our survival is at risk! If Julia lets any secrets out, we're ALL in trouble!"

"Sorry Slender...." the both mumble slightly, looking- or at least trying- him in the face.

"Alright. Now let's figure out what to do." Slender says, carrying them all the way into the mansion, throwing them onto random sofas before sitting down on his custom-made recliner.

"So we know that Julia is still somewhere in Illisoni, somewhere near Chicago. I have an idea where she is, we just need a plan to get in there." Slender says stating the obvious.

"Well, we could just barge in. That would be easy. Get Bloody Painter and Puppeteer to help. They want to meet her. Maybe even your brothers would help." I say, proud of the idea I came up with.

"Not a bad idea... but there must be a better choice. There always is." Slender says, glancing at the clock. "We'll eat first, then talk more about it." He says getting up and walking to the kitchen.

"Jeff, let's play brawl. I bet you can't beat me." BEN says with a smirk.

"Oh, you're on small fry!" I yell, grabbing a remote.

"You elf! Stop cheating!" I yell.

"Now now, let's not jump to any concluions!"

"FUCKER, MY CHARACTER ONLY GLITCHES WHEN I PLAY WITH YOU!!!" I yell in his ear.

"JEFFERY WOODS. NO SWEARING IN MY HOUSE." Slender growls. Turning around, I can tell he's pissed. His dark aura is stronger than it normally is, and he let his tendrils free.

"I'm sorry Slender...." I say trying not to show my fear of him.

"No more swearing. Now everyone come sit, it's time for dinner." He says regaining his calm composure.

Everyone sits down in their spot and chows down, not having a care in the world even though the situation is hanging over our heads. We eat peacefully for a good twenty minutes, until we hear a knock on the door.

"Who would knock on the door? A human?" EJ asks, licking his lips.

"But.... how would a human find the house, it's fifteen miles in!" I whisper shout, looking towards the door with everyone else, wondering who is at the door, and how the hell they found this place.
