Thanksgiving at the Avengers tower:)I am woken up by feeling of Peter nuzzling his nose into my neck. I arch my back and press into him before pulling the covers over us more.
When Peter snuck into my room last night, he had left the window open. My room is now freezing despite the blankets that are piled over me. I open my eyes and see the light streaming through the frosty window just as a gust of wind comes through, moving my curtains and causing me to shiver.
"I'm so cold." I whisper.
"Mmm." Peter hums, wrapping his arms tighter around me.
He's wearing his Midtown sweatshirt and I am engulfed in his naturally warm body temperature, along with the warm shirt that I steal often. I sigh and he nuzzles his nose into my neck some more, causing me to giggle. My giggle causes him to giggle in return.
His lips then brush my ear and his breath instantly gives me chills. He knows what he is doing to me, but continues anyways. I suppress a soft moan as he gently nibbles on my ear. When this still doesn't work he brings his lips down to my neck and brushes them against it, before kissing me softly.
"Pete." I groan.
"Yes darling?" He asks, sitting up so that he can see my face.
He looks at me innocently as if he has no clue of the effect he has on me. I shake my head and laugh, pulling the covers all the way over my head.
"We have to get up." Peter says, peeking under the covers.
"Why?" I groan.
"I'm taking you to the tower, remember? For thanksgiving with Mr. Stark and the Avengers."
"That's today?"
"Well today is thanksgiving. Remember when we promised Mr. Stark we would go at the last party I brought you to?"
"Ohhh yeah."
"And the other Avengers are really excited to see you again."
"Really?"
"Yeah, they were texting me about it last night."
I immediately jump out of bed and run to the living room, suddenly awake.
"Hey Mom, Dad!" I yell, when I see them on the couch.
"What?" My dad asks, raising his eyebrows.
"Good morning to you too." My mom laughs.
"Is it okay if I go to thanksgiving at the Avengers tower with Peter?! For his... internship!"
"We were going to have thanksgiving here..." My mom starts.
"Please, This is a once in a life time opportunity!" I give my best attempt at puppy eyes.
"Fine." My mom rolls her eyes dramatically.
"But call us when you get there, and when you leave." My dad says.
"And keep your location on!" My mom adds.
"Okay, okay, I will. Thanks, I love you guys!"
I run back to my room where they don't know Peter is hiding.
"I can go!" I whisper yell, so my parents don't hear me talking to someone they think isn't here.
"Yes! And uh it's 2 o'clock in the afternoon..." Peter says.
"We slept in that long?!"
"Yes, but then again we did stay up all night watching movies."
"Makes sense."
