A.N.: I had to have a bully of some kind, so I chose to use Francine. However, this is just an au, so I don't believe this is actually how she would act.
This day was more excruciating than usual. And since most days are hell, this is the worst of the worst.
It started off like any other day: I woke up, got dressed, and went to bloody school. As always, I was insulted by the usual, being called "snobby British prep", and my English accent being referred to as 'snooty' - I like to think of it as eloquent - but that's nowhere near as bad as what was about to come up.
I think it was at the beginning of lunch break when the absolutely all hell broke loose.
Just minding my own business, I left my locker with my lunch, my diary and my lucky pen. Walking down the corridor, I tried my hardest not to focus on the many remarks that my classmates threw at me. However, stupid old me was too busy trying to ignore all of the stupid people's insults that I didn't even realize a poised foot being thrust in front of me, which lead to me tripping and falling, face first.
As I was trying to recover from this fall, one of the plastic popular girls grabbed my diary from the floor in front of me and opened it. She was shouting idiotic things like "Fantsy Pantsy Alicey has a diary!" Trying to keep back my tears, I insisted on my diary back, but she completely blanked me out.
"Ooh, does Alice-Walice have a crush on some guy?" teased the clique 'leader', as I like to call her, as she is the one that everybody looks up to. Francine, I think her name is.
"Does she write some R-rated stuff in there?" exclaimed one of Francine's brainless followers.
"Maybe she has some weird fetish that she doesn't want anyone to know!" suggested another one of the clique members.
Truth was, the first one wasn't entirely wrong... However it was a girl, not a guy. Although I wish it wasn't, because the situation would have been a lot better if it wasn't. At least I haven't written her name in there.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Open it!" cackled one of the clique members. And that's exactly what she did.
I stood there like an idiot, waiting for my diary back, when Francine screamed "MON DIEU!" at the top of her lungs. Personally, I thought that was unnecessary.
"What is it?" squealed one of the younger members, practically buzzing from the excitement of the chance to get a new reason to humiliate me. The French girl's heavily glossed lip curled into a devilish smirk; I could practically see the evil shining on her face.
"Stay away from us, queer. We're not interested." And with that, she strutted away, followed by her mindless followers.
The next lessons I was ignored directly, but everyone was gossiping about the news that had been distributed since lunch break. It's not like it's THAT big of a deal, right?
I hope that this will get better over the week...
