Rescuing the Multiverse (Henry Stickmin AU)

Prologue

This... this didn't feel right, he shouldn't be laying on the floor, limp, no, he should be alive, so why is he dead? Charles looked down at Henry, who jumped in front of him, taking a bullet for the young pilot.

It was strange, earlier this week, the general told Charles, Rupert and the twins to see why the Toppats just stopped their plan to launch the space station completely. He later found out that it was because they were too busy having war with a small group of rebel Toppats, including two familiar faces. One of them were of Dave Panpa, a person who went missing a long time ago. The second one surprised them the most, it was the infamous Henry Stickmin, who lead the group into the battle.

Now, this morning, they were attacked by the Toppats, and when in battle, Charles wasn't looking, and it was still early to be certain the the rebel group were good or not, so when one of the rebels warned him, Charles didn't believe them, but when he turned around, the trigger was already being pulled. Henry, despite not knowing much on Charles, went in-between him and the gun, thus ending his life.

The leader then told them that they did what they were meant to do, and left, everything seemed to freeze for the 16 year-old, which actually did for him, but he didn't notice it. Soon, he saw something pop up in front of him, making him jump.

Charles looked at the thing with utter confusion, "Host"? "Cycle"? What's all this nonsense? The government pilot wanted to press "No", but something in him told him to press "Yes". Without control of his actions, his hand pressed on "Yes".

Charles then felt a sharp pain on him, as if thousands of needles all stabbed him at once. He suddenly had so many flashbacks at once from events he doesn't even remember happening, giving him even more pain.

When the finally pain stopped, he found himself waking up in his room with the sound of his alarm on his phone.

She looked at the news, two government soldiers were in each others arms after a bullet went right through the two, Ellie kinda remembered the one with the blue ear pice from when she was waiting to be transported to a cell. It kinda confused her on why Dimitri arrested him, even though he was a pardoned criminal, he shouldn't be in jail!

It bothered her the way the others talked about the greatest criminal in existence for 14 years without getting caught. They would constantly call him a sissy for joining the government, and made fun of the fact that he died with that extremely talented pilot in his arms, thinking that they were in a relationship.

The 26 year-old did have a small conversation with Henry as they waited to be transported into their cells, and when they asked about sexuality, they were both aromantic asexuals. Non of them knew Henry, and Ellie doesn't think that she knows Henry enough to claim she knows him.

This triggered her and caused her to yell at the people who were making fun of them, she ended up throwing punches, and the guards had to hold her back and drag her into her cell. She didn't know why she was so defensive about Henry, she barley knows him and yet, it feels as if she's known him for a while now.

She hadn't made an attempt to escape the wall yet, but she was planing. Suddenly, a tab-like thing popped up in front of her, causing her to jump back in surprise. She didn't understand how the frick this happened, she almost had to use the force.

No was the first thing she thought of, why the heck would she join this, "cycle"? What the heck was this thing talking about?! She had to admit herself, she was really curious to know what would happen if she pressed "Yes", even so, she knew better, and as she hovered her index finger over the "No", she started to think.

It was strange since Ellie never has second thoughts, or so she thought. She sighed, knowing that this curiosity was gonna kill her, and pressed "Yes".

The redhead then had the feeling of being stabbed a thousand times all over her body, and thousands of unknown memories rushed towards her like a tsunami. Everything felt numb to her.

When it finally stopped, she woke up back in a truck, the same truck she was taken in when heading to the Wall. How did she get here? Was that all a dream? But the conversation the two other guards had was familiar... too familiar.
