Now, the moment the chaos started was immediately I got home. I walked home with my usual poker face, but inside I was actually happy that that girl didn't show up to school today. My plan was to get home, change to my pajamas and then jump on my bed, watching K-dramas as I drifted to sleep. But the moment I got home, my plans went down the drain.
"Oh, Taehyung, you're back. This is our new neighbor. She's around your age so don't be shy and feel free to talk to her. After all, she came here to get to know us. Her name is Kim Jisoo." I froze.
Aunt Yu-Jun looked happy to see her, and I wondered why. I did tell her about my situation. But I didn't tell them who...I mentally facepalmed. "Well, I'll leave you two to talk and get to know each other!" Aunt Yu-Jun said happily, while walking into the kitchen, probably to prepare something for us to eat.
"Hello, psychic kid." She said, a smile on her face. I kept my poker face on, not wanting to show any sign of weakness in front of her. "What do you want? What is your motive?" I asked. Even though I had my poker face on, the irritation was clear in my voice. "What ever do you mean? You know, that isn't any way to welcome your new neighbor." She said, a smirk plastered on her face. I was so frustrated at that point.
"I'm ho-" Jimin Hyung cut himself off when he saw the situation in the living room. "Why- What is going on?" He asked, clearly confused. "Hi, I'm Kim Jisoo, your new neighbor." She said, an innocent smile on her face. Her mood had completely changed from when she was talking to me. I rolled my eyes at the thought.
"Yes, I know who you are, but neighbor?!" Jimin Hyung asked, looking even more confused than before. "Look, I don't want to get involved in your little, um situation, so I'm out. Bye." He said, walking up the stairs.
"You still didn't answer my question. What do you want from me? Are you going to tell the whole school? Blackmail me?" I asked, the frustration showing on my face a little. "No, none of that. I'm not a bad person; in fact I'm actually a very kind-hearted person." I just rolled my eyes.
"So? What do you want then?" I asked. "I want you to...demonstrate your powers to me."
