Chapter 4- Nixie Hollow

Welcome to Nixie Hollow, home to all earth friendly and nature helping Fairies, I said as I spread my arms out. My outfit had changed again and this time it was my Royal look, but then again I am the Princess of all of the Fairies. Jack gave me a look in awe as he stared at me.

Nice look ya got there, Rosie, He commented.

Thank you, I replied. Now to the Flower Vault.

I started flying and Uncle North followed behind me. It only took about two minutes to fly there. I landed on the Royal Rose and waited on it as North landed and Jack flew up and landed next to me.

This is the Royal Rose we are standing on, only the Royal blood that has been known in the Hollow and in the trees can open the Vault, I said so Jack and the others knew how important it was.

So that would be you, and your parents? Jack asked.

Close. Me, Fairies that we trust with it, my mum and my sister use to, but I trailed off.

But what? questioned Tooth.

I looked down as I answered her. Um, one day when mum and dad told us that we were going to keep peace and joy in the world and Thorn just stopped caring anymore, she was always mad at me and I didnt know why. Then one day I woke up and her side of our room was completely empty. I asked where she left to and mum not to worry and I never did. The only way that a Royal can open it is you must be coronated into the power. My coronation was about 50 years ago, and Ive been able to open the Vault ever since, I finished. I looked up at Uncle North, he already knew this. But it didnt make the pain go away.

Whos older between you two, Mate? asked Bunny as he stood behind me.

Um, Im 45 seconds older than Thorn.

Youre a twin? asked Tooth.

Yes, Identical, I answered.

But when your Mother show me picture of her children there only one in it, North said.

You mean this picture, I said as I lifted my hand and my glow pushed the curtain back from the hall of The Royals. All the portraits of my family me and my sister to all the way to the First Dinosaur age.

I walked over to the edge of the rose and the leaves began to form a walkway to the hall. Jack was right behind me and he stopped in front of the portrait of me and my sister, Thorn. I guess the rest of them were looking for the likeness of the two of us.

There is so much difference in the two of you, said Tooth.

Sandy was nodding in agreement. He made a question mark with his dust.

Um, Thorn changed after what mum and dad said. But shes usually like that. Shes to keep the darkness and hatred in balance with the light and love I make in the world. I held my hands out in front of me.

Whenever I go to an area and my fingernails turn black and/or fingers themselves turn a blood red that means hatred and darkness has been too strong there. I felt it at the pole and my fingers turned red at the forest where the workers were cutting.

What mean at my Pole? asked North.

Well, what happen before I got there? I asked.

North here, Thinks Pitch is back cause Black rot covered the Globe, Mate, Bunny said.

Wait, Black rot?! I said shocked.

Um , why do you sound panicked? asked Jack.

Oh, My Goodness. So bad.

Stay here, I told everyone. I flew out the hall and to my Hollow. I checked the hatred level in the world and Holy Glow! it was over the meter. I pulled out my shell phone and dialed Violet.

Hello, Ro Violet said.

Code double V, I said and hung up.

I know she would hurry and get here. After taking a few deep breathes and flew back to the Guardians.

Sorry, safety cause. I was nervous.

Why did you fly out like that, Mate? asked Bunny.

I sighed and waved my hand to the Vault. The doors opened and I entered, the rest followed.

This is the Flower Vault and I guess I could show you, instead.

I flew to the Royals part of the Vault and grabbed Thorns flower, a Bleeding Red rose. The color so red, it almost looked black. I brought it to the pool of water in the floor and put the rose on the big lily pad in the center. I landed next to Jack and mumbled the magic words to activate the pool. It lit up like the Fourth of July and images appeared on the water. Many of Thorns memories was of us playing together and being kids.

Then, the memory of that day came up and the look on her face, was heartbreaking to look at. Jack saw and grabbed my hand. I looked at him and he made my heart flutter. I nodded my head to him, in a silent thank you. The next memory came up and it was of the North Pole. I knew it, she was there. Another memory came up and it was of the forest. Again, she was there. The pictures stopped and the pool light died down to normal again. A sound of the door opening turned me around and facing a very tired Violet. She was bending over at the knees and breathing hard.

Okay, I got your message. Whats the DV, Ro? Violet said in a heavy breath.

TDIB, I said knowing she knew what I said. Thorns darkness is back.

What?! Violet shouted. Are you sure, Ro?

I felt a dark presence at The Pole and at the leveling in Africa. My nails turned black Vi. Wait a minute I knew Jack looked familiar. Violet had the same bone structure as her.

Um, side note. Jack I said turning to him. Did you, by any chance have a sister before you became Jack Frost?

Yes, why? Jack questioned.

Because you and Vi have the same bones structure and you were turned 300 hundred years ago, so was she.

Vi and Jack looked at each other for a little bit and still didnt get it. I sighed, flew up to get Vis flower a Bluebell as dark as a Nights sky at midnight. And Jacks a Blue Anemones topped with a little frost. Figures, frost.

I held them up and said Lets find out , hmm."

I put them on the lily pad and the pool lit up again only a light blue glow. Two pictures of memories came up, the same memory. The one where Jack drowns in the lake and became Jack Frost. I looked at Jack and he was as shocked as Vi. Even Bunny and Sandy were shocked, Tooth and North not so much. But that isnt surprising.

See, You guys are siblings, I said proudly.

But why did it take us all this time to find each other again? questioned Vi.

Because youre always doing what you do best Vi, keeping Jacks frost from getting out of hand, I said. Yes, Vi was needed to keep Jacks frost from coming into the Hollow.

Okay, so now that you guys know who each other is I need to borrow Vi here for a moment, I said as I grabbed her arm and flew near the top of the Vault. I showed her my arm and her mouth just hung open.
