I was working on my new case when I came apart something that I couldn't solve it on my own. I went to my supervisor and asked her how to handle it. "Well, indeed this matter is not for you to take care of. Not even I can take care of it. Only Mr. Kim can solve it. Dear, if you don't mind go to his office and ask for his help. Right now, I can't go there myself, and you only have that case for today. After the problem is solved, you can go home." I nodded and made my way to the 50th once again today. My office was a few floors up from the CEO's office. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous as hell. There was something about Mr. Kim that made me always more nervous than usual. Well, he is your boss after all um dumbass. My conscience scolded me. Once on the right floor, I asked Jungkook if I could knock my way in, and he said "Tae- Mr. Kim is just working on some files. So just knock and wait for him to answer." He said and smiled at me, I smiled back and made my way to his office. I knocked and heard a loud and annoyed voice answer me. His voice tone only increased my anxiety. Great, he is annoyed at me for interrupting his work. I cursed at myself and carefully opened the door and walked into the big office where Mr. Kim was working. "Hello. Sorry to irrupt Sir, but I'm afraid I'll need your help momentarily." I patted myself on the back for not stuttering and hiding my nerves. "What do you need help with Miss Seong?" The way he pronounces my name gave me goosebumps and shiver a bit. Why did that happen? "I have this case that I was given to work on, however, Miss Rose told me that there is a problem that only you can solve it. Therefore, she said it would be better if I came to ask you for help in the matter." You said as gave him the documents of the case you were desperately trying to solve.
"Well, let me see." He said so lowly that came more as a breath than an answer. I felt bad for not being able to handle my first work but Miss Rose said that not even her could solve such a thing so I guess I shouldn't feel bad. Nonetheless, my confidence went down a bit, I would lie if I said that I wasn't feeling a bit down. "Well, indeed only me can solve this. I don't know how such a case went to your hands when it should've been given to me in the first place" Mr. Kim stated after some time looking at the files. "Since there's nothing you can do on this case. You can go home earlier today. Have a nice afternoon Miss Seong" I thanked him and left his office. There was something about his aura that made me feel like I've met him before, but I shrugged it out and simply thought that probably was only my head overthinking. I went out of the firm and headed to the subway to finally go home. Even though I can home earlier than supposed to, I was really tired and just want to go home and have a nice shower and a nice dinner while chatting with Suri.
