The van arrived at camp at 5:42PM, just in time for dinner and campfire. Annabeth climbed out of the van first, eager to stretch out her legs.

"ANNIE!!" She heard just as somebody threw their arms around her and strangled her in a hug. "OMG YOU'RE HERE! You're finally here, I've been waiting all week!"

"I'm here, I'm here!" Annabeth replied, her voice muffled in Piper's hair. "You're choking me," she gasped. Piper finally loosened her grip. Annabeth could see her boyfriend standing near them, arms crossed.

"Promptly stealing my girlfriend, huh," he teased.

Piper pouted and tightened her embrace. "You get her all year, I haven't seen her in forever."

"I was literally here over thanksgiving!" Annabeth complained. "You Facetime me twice a day!"

"It's been forever!" Piper insisted.

Annabeth sighed and smiled at her boyfriend. He was mid-chuckle when he got tackled to the ground in a flash of brown and blonde.

Percy curled in to protect his head as he hit the ground. Somebody else groaned beside him.

"Hey Percy," a voice said.

"Hey man," Percy replied, still catching his breath.

"This is no time to be sleeping, you two. What're you doing on the ground?"

"Okay, fuck you, Leo. This was your idea," Jason muttered.

Near the right side of the van, Will spotted Nico hopping out of his seat. Will rushed over to where he was standing and began to reach for a hug before

Percy saw a pair of silver boots approach in his periphery. A moment later, a cold mass hit his chest.

"SNOWBALL FIGHT!" Thalia announced as she threw a snowball at the heap of bodies on the ground. Little did everyone else know that she'd spent the last few minutes accumulating snowballs while everybody else had been busy greeting each other. A full fight shortly ensued and soon enough there were a dozen different factions.

Thalia immediately teamed up with Annabeth, Piper, and Clarisse. Annabeth and Piper were on snowball duty, meaning they were in charge of making strong and sturdy snowballs that were large enough to hurt, but small enough to comfortably throw. A few minutes later, Hazel had quietly climbed out of the van and asked to join them, so obviously they'd accepted her. She was promptly put on fort duty, steadily building up a wall of snow, under Annabeth's supervision. Thalia and Clarisse, they were offense. Nobody was getting past them.

Percy and Jason had barely caught they're breath when they were hit by a new barrage of snowballs by the Aphrodite faction. A moment later, a large creature covered their vision and blocked off the snowballs. Next to it, a polar bear morphed back into Frank and began throwing snowballs back.

"Frank! Thanks for the save," Jason shouted, getting up.

"Don't thank me, thank Mrs. O'Leary."

"You're such a good girl," Percy cooed, scratching the hellhound behind her ear.

"Behind you!" Frank shouted. Percy turned just in time to catch a snowball with his face. He could hear Clarisse's cackling as he rubbed his face.

"That's it," He muttered, scooping up some snow. "Jason, offense. Frank, defense. I'm gonna make the hardest snowballs they've ever felt."

"Percy!" Grover shouted, pulling Juniper along with him. "We'll help build a fort if you supply us with snow."

"Deal, big man. We're taking them down."
