Ritchie POV:

As I walked over to Grimshade, I felt a big knot in my stomach beginning to form. Why was I heading to Grimshade? Well, there was someone there I needed to talk to. No, not Micheal. Someone else.

I walked up to the door and hesitated before knocking. I knocked twice before stepping back. I waited for a minute before I saw the door creak open. I watched as Alyssa's face came into view. They looked around confused before setting their gaze onto me. I mentally sighed in relief that it was them that answered. " Oh, Ritchie! What are you doing here?" They asked.

" Um...Actually, I came here for you," I said, chuckling nervously. They looked at me with a questioning look. " For me?" They repeated. I nodded. " Alright..." They said, hesitantly before closing the door behind them. We both walked down the staircase and stopped at the front near the bridge. " What did you need to talk to me about?"

" Well...I need some advice with Devin."

" Love advice?" Alyssa asked, smirking. I felt my face immediately flush and become hot. " W-what?! How did you know?!"

They chuckled before saying, " Let's just say, I know things..." They say smirking while looking away. They cleared their throat, interrupting their thoughts. " Anyways, how did you find me?"

" Well, I thought that you're usually with Devin and if you're not with Devin, you're with Micheal and if you're with Micheal, then you're at Grimshade and if you're not at Grimshade, then I have no clue where you are." I said in one breath. I blinked at her blankly. They blinked back.

" Well, why did you think I was the person to go to? I know nothing about love!"

" Well, I went to you because I'm too scared to go to Micheal. He's scary when he's in protective brother mode." I said, shivering at the thought.

" And who said I wasn't dangerous?" They asked, quickly switching to her void form then back. I felt the fear going through me. I chuckled nervously. " I'm just kidding, pulling your leg as you humans say." They said, kicking my foot with theirs. " Anyways, tell me what's the problem. Are you Devin dating yet?" They ask with a smirk. " Well- um....he did confess to me..."

" Okay, and...?"

" I turned him down."

" You...WHAT?!" They yelled and grabbed me by the collar of my cloak. " WHY WOULD YOU TURN HIM DOWN?!"

" I...didn't...necessarily...turn...him...down...." I said as they shook me back and forth. They stopped shaking me and looked me in the eye in a very threatening way. " Explain..."

" Well, I told him I felt the same way, which I do, and told him to wait until all of this was over." I explained. They blinked at me before giving a ' Are you so dumb?!' look. " Are you crazy?! You realize anything could happen before the chaos with Devil's Tongue dies down, right? You could die, I could die, anyone could die!" They shouted. (totally not foreshadowing for Alyssa and Ritchie....)

" I know! I realized that! That's why I came to you. I need your help before something does happen and then I'll regret not doing anything!" I shouted back. They let go of the rim of my cloak and sigh, putting their fingers on their temple, rubbing it in annoyance. " Alright, so...what do you think I should do?" I asked. " Well, maybe get him a gift. Like...roses or something. Or maybe chocolate. Or a new knife. Speaking of which, I haven't seen him use that knife in about 7 or 8 years..."
