A Tour and Magix

Skyler takes Doe arm in hers and drags him along the path towards the main entrance of the castle to start their tour before they leave for Magix's.

"Doe come on there's plenty to see but we only have a few minutes till our ship arrives."

Skyler says quickly and sharply while physical dragging Doe through the main castle door, then as Skyler is taking Doe through the castle halls they end up at the corridor of portraits, Doe looks around at the portraits and spots one portrait in particular, which catches his eye he then turns to Skyler to ask her about the portrait.

"Skyler who is this in the portrait they seem familiar and look important."

Doe asked Skyler questionably while looking at the portrait as if it's going to answer his question, Skyler looked at Doe with worry but also a hint of hatred and malice that he could in her eyes, Doe then put a hand on Skyler shoulder as to say he's here for you.

"I'll be alright Doe thank you, just that this man or what ever he is pure darkness he's the one behind every evil deed in the magical dimension and he's name is."

Skyler was about to answer Doe's question when another more elegant voice comes directly from down corridor both, Doe and Skyler to see Queen Crystal walking towards them both with two bodyguards by her side she then speaks to answer the question.

"His name is Lord Darkar the Shadow Phoenix."

Queen Crystal said elegantly to responds Doe's question, both Doe and Skyler looked surprised that Queen Crystal would know who Lord Darkar is and even would take the time to talk both of them.

"Queen Crystal if I may ask why do you have a portrait of Lord Darkar in the castle."

Doe asked Queen Crystal politely while bowing slightly as to show respect to her, Skyler who was also surprised to Queen Crystal in this part of part as Skyler knew that Queen Crystal was usually in royal meeting hall for her daily meetings, which entail how to rule the Planet and new law that will come into effect, then Queen Crystal spoke once again.

"Well young man the reason for the portrait is so that we the royal family never forget what he did to our planet, around 100 years ago when he extinguished the sun which in turn stole the magic from our planet killing millions all over, now all the citizens who are left are unable to use magic or they don't know they have magical potential, so that's why there's a portrait of Lord Darkar hanging in the castle is for motivation."

Queen Crystal said coldly with no emotion in her voice she then dismissed herself and walked away to continue with her royal duty's, Doe then looks into Skyler's direction to gain some kind of semblance to what the Queen Crystal had just been said, Doe then spoke.

"Skyler are you alright you haven't said a word since Queen Crystal been here why is that."

Doe said worryingly as he looked at Skyler, Skyler then stares into Doe's eyes touched that he even noticed her silence during the Queen's present, she then smiled and begun to regain her composure to then speck in response to Doe's question.

"Don't worry I am quite alright, sorry for losing my composure you see me and the Queen don't really get a long, she's one of the reasons for me leaving for Alfea, just since I was young I knew something was different between us but that shall be a story for another time.

Skyler said all this while holding Doe's arm out of instinct as to gain some kind of comfort from the touch, she then starts to drag him away to another part of the castle to continue their tour, but as they reach the end of the corridor a new sweet like honey comes booming from the other end of the corridor.
